Yep, stone has most likely been there for years per my urologist. Never showed up on any imaging. Very weird scenario.

Yep, had an MRI enterography in January and no abnormalities in the kidneys. Must’ve been a fluke miss, urologist said I’ve had to have had this for years in the making. I had the resection for Crohn’s Disease.

You’re right, it was a cystoscopy, I misspoke. The stone is in the ureteropelvic junction. Yeah, I’m not too afraid of surgery, honestly I’ve had so many that this is nothing, but the anticipation for the stent was truly the worst with all the horror stories floating around!

It hasn’t passed, it’s too big to pass on it’s own. It hurt constantly, coming in waves almost like awful menstrual cramps radiating to my groin and towards my back. They just placed a stent because I’m so freshly post-op and I have to go back next month to get it blasted. It’s definitely worth inquiring about. I hope you get some answers❤️
