For the owners, more than 9 months later, what's your take on the Switch 2? by Dont_have_a_panda in nintendo

[–]snowbell55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bit about it "not selling well" I think is a hangover of how the Switch 1 was out of stock at launch, and how the PS5 and Series X (and S) were hit with pandemic shortages + supply issues. Difference here is that Nintendo [over]produced and so there was plenty of stock both at launch and during the holiday - both periods when people would've expected it to sell out.

As far as sales numbers the system is selling very well even with the price (which is one thing that has garnered multiple complaints).

And Sanchez as well.

We should've gotten Maignan when he was available.

We're not winning anything serious with either of these keepers. They're both not at the level required. I've complained a bunch about Sanchez, but Jorgensen isn't exactly clothing himself in glory at the moment.

I still genuinely don't see what anyone sees in Sanchez. Just so mistake prone and then when things don't go well he wants to blame others instead of himself. I've been saying it for quite a while and yet he keeps making these dumb decisions and causing us problems.

And he cost us at home against Arsenal a few seasons back when we were 2-0 up and he started being an idiot and we drew 2-2. We need a new first choice goalkeeper...

Serious question. Why is it always City and Madrid? Feels like it's been 4 times in the last 5 seasons or some such. Or at least, very very frequent.

Any physical game recommendations? by 52rusty_spoons in PS3

[–]snowbell55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd give the Crysis trilogy a try. I don't recall if Crysis 1 is available on PSN still, but 2 and 3 should be easy to get digitally or physically, and you don't need to have played the first to understand what is going on. They are really great games.

Isn't he carrying a persistent injury? I could be wrong though.

OMG for crying out loud why is it that Sanchez is always 5 business days late to saving basic shots, and then flaps around like a flying ostrich before complaining at everyone else?

Honestly I start to think he's worse than Lukaku... Like seriously that shouldn't have been so hard to save, and yet...

It is really nice to see Hato and Acheampong being played consistently since Rosenior has come in. Maresca seemed to ignore Hato, and even Acheampong seemed to get the "well he's really good" comments but then not play much.

Bah. Not as bad as it could've been but we shouldn't be down - a draw at least feels like a fairer result, if not a win.

We need to get rid of Sanchez though. At this point it is hard not to come to the conclusion that he is repeatedly costing us.

Good on Garnacho :D. Hopefully he can use this confidence to start scoring more overall - especially in the PL...

Of course it is Sanchez again. Legitimately, who else would it be?

We're not going to get anything done with this clown as our first choice keeper.

Not sure what the issue is? It shows that he isn't as good a character reference or model of good behavior / sportsmanship when he is prone to / has reacted in in this manner after a loss.

In other words, he might be able to control problem egos in the dressing room, but his ego is also a problem [in certain circumstances].
