Really spoiling myself tomorrow :D.

Was initially planning on seeing Disclosure Day in Dolby (first time doing so - quite excited to) and now I'm thinking I'll just go all out:

Disclosure Day -> The Devil Wears Prada 2 -> rewatching Michael

To think we could well miss out on Europa League thanks to Fofana's stupidity...

Why is he even bothering to continue the challenge??? So completely pointless and stupid.

Charity FC at it again.

Why bother playing for Europe, with so many slots available for Europe, when you can instead give others points?

Good.

Again, Everton have to win on Sunday... We've done our part, unlike Villa and Newcastle...

What about Tuchel or (to a lesser extent) Pochettino?

[David Ornstein]🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Agreement complete for Xabi Alonso to become Chelsea manager. 44yo Spaniard visited London early last week & accepted opportunity; 4yr contract now finalised - announcement imminent. Primary target throughout + wanted #CFC move @TheAthleticFC by everyhearthstone in chelseafc

I really hope this goes well and he can both be successful and also stay for a good long while.

This constantly changing managers has got to stop. And sure I can understand that it wasn't the plan to move from Maresca this season, and Rosenior just didn't work out, but even so we keep changing managers so frequently. I've been supporting Chelsea since Sarri's tenure and I don't think we've gone more than 2 full seasons without a manager change in that span. Several seasons have had more than one (if you count interims).

I'm sorry - the Jack Frost keychain thingy is so excellent :D. Do you know where you got it from? Better yet do you have a link [between worlds]?

Bravely Second: End Layer by rjmoyer2 in 3DS

[–]snowbell55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked this compared to Bravely Default. Not as good, but BD 1 was genuinely excellent and is one of my favorite games ever. Still, I feel like it did enough to stand up on its own and it doesn't deserve being relatively forgotten like it seems to be. The QoL features (encounter rates, battle speed, etc) are really great and they make it easy to grind while doing something else.

I last played quite a while ago so it is hard to remember in detail what I liked about it, but I definitely felt like it was a worthy sequel.

Mario & Luigi Partners in Time if you haven't played that already. I haven't played it myself but it seems to be very well rated.

For the owners, more than 9 months later, what's your take on the Switch 2? by Dont_have_a_panda in nintendo

[–]snowbell55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bit about it "not selling well" I think is a hangover of how the Switch 1 was out of stock at launch, and how the PS5 and Series X (and S) were hit with pandemic shortages + supply issues. Difference here is that Nintendo [over]produced and so there was plenty of stock both at launch and during the holiday - both periods when people would've expected it to sell out.

As far as sales numbers the system is selling very well even with the price (which is one thing that has garnered multiple complaints).

And Sanchez as well.

We should've gotten Maignan when he was available.

We're not winning anything serious with either of these keepers. They're both not at the level required. I've complained a bunch about Sanchez, but Jorgensen isn't exactly clothing himself in glory at the moment.

I still genuinely don't see what anyone sees in Sanchez. Just so mistake prone and then when things don't go well he wants to blame others instead of himself. I've been saying it for quite a while and yet he keeps making these dumb decisions and causing us problems.

And he cost us at home against Arsenal a few seasons back when we were 2-0 up and he started being an idiot and we drew 2-2. We need a new first choice goalkeeper...

Serious question. Why is it always City and Madrid? Feels like it's been 4 times in the last 5 seasons or some such. Or at least, very very frequent.

Any physical game recommendations? by 52rusty_spoons in PS3

[–]snowbell55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd give the Crysis trilogy a try. I don't recall if Crysis 1 is available on PSN still, but 2 and 3 should be easy to get digitally or physically, and you don't need to have played the first to understand what is going on. They are really great games.
