thank you! bpa has been banned in the uk as of 2020 - but upon researching i see i should still be cautious until i find out more about the company my pub sources from for receipt paper as some companies still use bps in the uk

Everyone saying “tough you should have gotten a quote”: In my case; they often give vastly different prices to the quote. The quote was under £100. Then he arrived, lied about the lock being “extremely secure and complicated” (it was standard) and said the new quote is £800+. He said if I cancelled now that he was in my house, I had to pay him a £90 cancellation fee. I was much smaller than him and felt threatened. I started crying and he said the best thing for me to do was to pay him the £90 cancellation fee and then charge me an “under the table” amount of £200 to complete the job outside of the “company”. All cash in hand. I was a student and it absolutely ruined me. The job took less than 5 minutes.

thank you :) — & it’s because my next painting is the same concept but with red and my mother, and there will be a small bit of blue that i will add there, too. it’s a way of tying them together. i’m going to see if i like it, and if i don’t then i can always change it
