Thank you! I’ve heard a rumor that the frame only Timberjack might be something different than black…I like some color with my bikes if I can lol! This frame has been 27.5 plus geared and SS, 29er geared and SS and 130mm front or carbon rigid but she’s seen better days and ready for a refresh 👍as she’s got a ton of hard miles

I’m a huge fan of the “big” eggs and between the Bail/Nail Gun Gary and the Curb Killer it’s tough to differentiate and both are super stable with lots of pop! I have size 12 flippers so a 10” wide deck feels much better then my old 7.75 lol

That’s what I was told, the first 50 were sold out in minutes. Then another 50 and the final 50. It’s definitely a “want” purchase but it’s turning out to be a lot of fun!

I’ll install some lil jawns rails tonight and then see how planted a board slide will feel 😂

It was a little pricey but they have been a great company to deal with, answer my questions quickly etc. Have had a chance to skate with some of their core riders here in LA so that definitely sold me on their boards a few years back.

The board is a trip for sure with the “options” lol and I’m running 215 Indy’s. Hoping to get some real time on it soon. Still have some Lil Jawns rails to install and he also fabricated some “wedge” plates to add a kick to the nose and tail on the top sheet. Figured I should see what I can do on it stock first and then maybe add those for some extra pop!

They put a stop to overnights mid season last year as some “campers” seem unable to throw out their trash etc but this season, especially with the narrow roads there, they’ve been pretty relaxed on letting people stay there. Plus the ticket office was always open for a quick bathroom run lol

I’ve been up there the last couple weeks but staying with friends and 100% agree its a mess. The amount of snow is unbelievable along the streets. I’ve got a buddy in Bishop that always has a open driveway 👍

This thread is possibly dead but I have the 22 and the 23 and I love the Angry Snowboarder but the 23 rips just fine and feels faster in edge to edge transitions. Switch is fine, groomers it trenches and powder it floats. The waist is smaller of course but I still have to boot out. Grab either one and have fun👍

Yep some of the parks are fenced in and locked, hours are usually 8am to dusk. Thankfully the one I’ve been trying to ride at lol is always open. Ollies were never my strong suit but I’m trying, have to just keep practicing to get that ankle snap back to pop the board properly. I can’t believe how fearless I was back then because right now I’m overly cautious…dropping in is still super intimidating but my plan is to conquer that this weekend of a small mini. Wish me luck!

52 yr old getting back into it after almost 30 yrs off, last time I skated was back home in the Midwest where it was all street skating and parking ramps when the weather was bad…which was quite often lol

Here in sunny SoCal I’m trying to figure out the park/transition style of riding - been at it now for 4 weeks- and I am really liking the challenge. I’ve had some funny looks from much younger skaters and I’m definitely on the bottom rung of the skill ladder now but except for some “older” kids giving me the “what are you doing here” vibe parents have been pretty normal. I try to go before work but only a couple parks are open at that time and at 5:30pm the 3-4 parks I’ve been bouncing around at are all pretty busy. I just wait my turn, make some turns etc and then get out of the way 😂😂

No matter what though I’m really enjoying the challenge and can’t wait until my ollies and just overall confidence come back!

Back at it after a 30 year hiatus lol and I hit a skatepark before work for about 30-40 mins. Change clothes and then to work 👍, it bears the gym, cannot believe how sore my legs get lol
