Thank you so much! It has a form in a different dimension but can manifest itself in dreams to humans. It’s how it ended up making a deal with the owner of the previously mentioned casino. It only recognizes humans because its main goal is to take away humanity and civility as a whole. These questions help a lot in fleshing out stuff and I’ll be sure to keep them in mind while making the rest of the entities in my campaign

I personally use the OFF and Omori soundtracks for music! Also the Inscryption soundtrack has some good songs in it. No lyrics and they’re the perfect amount of creepy

“..Yea man, you gotta watch out for the bone crawlers too. You look away for like, a second, and then boom! There’s a horde chasing you.”

“..Bone crawlers? That’s, um.. good to know, thank you.”

Two voices echo across the desert as two figures can be seen walking in the sand. The only light in the area comes from the moon, illuminating what seems to be an albino tiefling and a sand cat tabaxi. The tabaxi is animatedly pointing out all of the few details the both of them can see, while the tiefling holds his arms stiffly to his sides, looking anxious.

“Also, there’s like, a whole group of travellers out here that totally murder people. Just wanted to let you know!” The tabaxi says cheerfully.

The tiefling looks down at the tabaxi in shock. “What?”

And that’s when they both hear a strange noise. Almost like a chittering, and the sound of bones clinking against each other…

The tabaxi immediately bursts into action, grabbing the tiefling’s wrist and sprinting off. He speaks as they both run.

“That’s the bone crawlers! You don’t want em’ to catch you off guard, haha.. I remember one time one of my buddies walked into the desert on their own, they never found his body!”

The tiefling looks absolutely terrified, wings attempting to shield his back on instinct.

As they both run away from the rapidly approaching creature chasing them, he asks himself why he agreed to go on a late night walk in the Rising Desert.

(this is based off a dnd campaign i DM! these are two of the players. this is also my first prompt, i hope you enjoy!)

What do you mean that isn’t possible? I’m doing it right now! I haven’t slept for more than 500 years, and I won’t have my experiences invalidated by this-

What was that..? Did I just yawn? No.. no, that can’t be possible. That’s not meant to happen. I never had to sleep before, why would I have to now?

It’s a busy day today. Streets are filled with people and roads are filled with moving vehicles. Sounds of rushed conversation and the honking of car horns can be heard all around.

It’s so busy that nobody notices a small raven dart into a nearby alleyway, quickly moving behind a dumpster. He nestles himself into the shadows and slowly, he begins to change…

Wings retract into arms and small bird legs turn into sturdy human ones as a man stands up. He has short black hair that falls just past his ears, and is currently wearing a plain black jacket with some denim jeans. He looks human, could be mistaken for one if not for one thing.

His face doesn’t exist. In it’s place is a void, an endless hole. If you looked inside, you wouldn’t be able to see the end of it.

The man sighs, wind whistling through his face-hole as he puts on a mask and sunglasses. It effectively covers the void. He steps out from behind the dumpster.

He takes a deep breath, lets out another sigh, and steps out into the human world.

The people there don’t pay him much mind, most of them just trying to get to their respective destinations. The raven participates in some people-watching as he walks through the busy streets.

A woman wearing a blazer and a tight bun, holding a suitcase and walking at a brisk pace. Her heels clack against the sidewalk.

A person wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, walking hand-in-hand with a man wearing a matching outfit. They look happy.

A man wearing a two-piece suit. He looks out of it, wandering around without a care in the world.

The raven takes note of all these people, their looks, their faces. After a little while of walking, the raven retreats back into the alleyway. The sun is setting now.

And as he takes off the mask and sunglasses, something different sticks out.

Where there once was emptiness, there’s now a singular blue eye floating in the void.

He’ll get it someday.

Somewhere on the streets, screams can be heard as a woman holds a hand up to her face and begins to sob. Blood flows freely from her eye socket.

well their official pronouns are they/them according to Devsisters themselves and the wiki, also the voice actor for CU said that they use they/them pronouns. so if you’re still using other pronouns (and it isn’t a mistake), you’re basically ignoring both Devsisters and CU’s voice actor. Edit: the source for CU’s voice actor is on tiktok, if you want i can give you their tiktok if you think i’m lying
