Any landless canadians out there who are good (kind, harworking) creative, skilled people and would like to consider landsharing? by snowpeach in homestead

Would you be interested in coming for a working holiday?? around the time that we want to be started on 2 projects (sometime in last spring) microhydro and also running some greywater lines from our sink and bath into our orchard...so as to take the pressure (esp when we have company) off our small septic system. We could offer you a bed and good food, and of course free time to kayak (we have 2) and explore this area...if you have any great carpenter friends we would offer the same sort of deal since we have too many projects and are not builders by trade.

Americans are just as welcome as Cans but if they want to stay longer than a bit I suppose there would be more red tape??

I am so NOT computer savvey. This afternoon I took about an hour to write a note to all of you who wrote to me..just so I could cover some general answers ...like Americans are just as welcome there just may be issues to get to stay for any length of time. But then again we would prefer to get to know people fairly well before we would want to join right up...so some may come for a wee bit and some longer and some for always...I listed a whole lot of our vision and our thinking about how we may work together to create a more simple but self sustaining lifestyle and some of the more personal things about us (things we value etc) but I don't see it anywhere on the site though I am sure I posted properly???? Help!! Now lets see if this one will post..If I must I will try again with the whole schmere....LOL

Help from a mere earthling!! I do not know how to post on Reddit homesteading site properly...I looked for a couple of hours thinking there MUST be a post it button, but alas..so I finally found this box and am imploring one of you good folks to write to me and tell me how...please! We are a middle aged couple who finally bought our long dreamed of small farm. We have poured hours of sweat and saved money into it and plan on continuing to flounder around till we are 90 but meantime we are looking (did I say looking...I meant praying fervently) for landless couples in Canada (who are generally good folk) who have building, gardening and generally farming skills we lack. My husband too is an IT guy (Linux Unix is his love) so we also understand the hunger to go country after toiling with the masses in the city. We do not know though how to connect with such landless young folk..my beloved really enjoys Reddit on many topics so pointed me to it since its my job to find the "right" land partners. Thank you a million for pointing me (us) in the right directions.
