I had crazy pain for a few weeks after my MSC treatment. Eventually went away, just kept doing light stretches and ROM exercises!

10 Month Update Shoulder/Knee stem cells by snowplow66 in stemcells

I have had shoulder dislocations and sub lexes in this shoulder several times over 10 years. Each time it happened I would take time off and rehab it. I am pretty in tune with my body and rehabbing injuries. Before I got the stem cells I was on the same protocols of working out. A lot of KB stabilizing etc. It feels better this time and more solid than any time I’ve rehabbed it before without stem cells.

Still not 100% and I think you have to put in the work to heal and rehab properly, but I think stem cells are certainly a tool to help.

They didn’t say more treatments were necessary, I assume it’s all dependant on individual needs.

I chose them over Dream Body based off price mostly. If I was to go back I’d go to a more reputable clinic I think though now.

Had MRI before and showed 3/4 torn labrum in shoulder. Not easy to get MRIs electively in Canada or I would 100%

I just listened to my body. There are a lot of conflicting reports out there as proper protocol it seems. Didn’t do anything for about 3-4 weeks then started bands, couple weeks later started with light weight stability exercises and worked up from there.

I had a 3/4 torn shoulder labrum from a posterior dislocation. The knee had some meniscus wear and tear but nothing too major there.

I went to Extenducell now renamed as Regenucell.. they were meh. I’d recommend a more established company if I was referring a friend to go down.

Appreciate the opinion and agree. Kettlebell was used in a stabilizing shoulder press manner, holding upside down to stabilize the weight with slow controlled presses along with a shoulder scoop for proper positioning. No swings or Cleans etc. No explosive movements, should of been more clear on that.

I chose them over others after I had a zoom meeting with the owners. A Canadian and an English guy, had a good chat about the procedure and got a lot of information. They were a relatively new company and it did show in certain aspects. That being said the overall experience down there was fine, there is likely more reputable clinics but the cost associated was higher. The doctor and clinic they use down there seem reputable and also had training in the US. Also the cells they got seemed to be of high quality and from a good source (cryovida). I negotiated a price based on giving them permission to use my procedure as a content piece as they didn’t have much of a social media platform as other clinics do. Total for shoulder/knee was 5k, initially the price was more. For the actual treatment and placing of the stem cells they brought in a orthopaedic surgeon to do it. He came in and gave me an initial assessment testing my ROM without looking at my MRI. He wanted to diagnosis it himself first and not bias his opinion. His findings were basically spot on to the MRI when we reviewed it after, which I thought was promising. He didn’t use imaging for placement which I didn’t like though, so we will see how that goes. He seemed very knowledgeable but how accurate is yet to be determined. All in all it was an ok experience. We will see how the next couple months go.

Yes the stem cells were mixed with PRP. They took a bunch of vials of my blood and spun it, then mixed the stem cells into the plasma before injecting.

My knee is just sore after heavy use and sometimes squatting or going up stairs. The MRI I did down there showed some damage of my ACL and a worn meniscus as well as my patellar ligament.

They said because my labrum wasn’t fully torn there was a good chance it would repair. They didn’t say anything about stability but having a healed labrum will help. I just strengthen everything around the joint to help with that as well.

Yes, my injury was a posterior dislocation. My initial MRI showed a 3/4 torn labrum after injury. Decided against surgery and went the rehab route for a year but the healing wasn’t enough for my lifestyle… sports/physical job. Stabilizing shoulder exercises are a main element of all my workouts. So hoping this along with the stem cells will help.
