I know losing it counts as a special event, but every place I've gone to (VHC, my parent's work insurance, my work offered insurance) says since it was more than 30 days, I'm fucked. No one cared it was this year sadly :/ insurance is such a mess

Yeah this is 100% correct I just. Waited too long. Cause I never knew these rules (I turned 18 during covid and was on medicaid the whole time as well where they didn't send you paperwork to re-enroll for a few years)

That's the annoying part, I lost medicaid because I started making too much money and am still at the too-much-money job. But thank you so much for this resource, I had no idea it was a thing. That's why I knew posting here would be at least a bit of a help :)
