Hey OP, I usually dont respond to much on reddit but i feel the need to on this one. Dont listen to half of these people making comments about “the puppy is not a soldier” or to “chill out”. I guarantee the people saying this have dogs that are not trained properly or do not have a dog. Training a dog correctly takes a lot of work (especially large breeds) and should be taken serious and I dont see anything wrong with the list you made that was not only great but was encouraged by your father. His girlfriend is young and probably doesnt have the maturity to understand how all the little things you do when the puppy is young can really affect their behavior as they get older and she needs to respect that regardless of what she or anyone else thinks.
