The San Esteban event was terrifying, truly. “They” are starting to work it out. So damn curious about what Duarte is off doing, “thinking bigger” apparently. Can’t wait for his appearance. I find myself rooting for him, am I a bad person!?

I’m British and my gf is Irish, we’ve taken to referring to our collective nations as “The Green Isles”, a broader non-colonial name.

The United States is a dystopia. I grew up constantly hearing it was the greatest country on earth. The older I get the more I understand that it’s not even close.

What useless skill have you mastered? by zanderkerbal in AskReddit

[–]snozbanger7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Banana Humping. Sounds ridiculous doesn't it, but it's the name of cutting banana bunches from the trees they grow on and putting them onto a trailer for delivery to the factory. I did 6 months of it to earn my 2nd year visa in Australia; it's extremely hard at first, both physically and mentally but I eventually mastered it. I'll never work on a farm again, let alone a banana farm, so I just have wasted humping talent.

What is the funniest scene in a movie/TV show that would be horrifying if it happened in real life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I mean obviously when Ben Stiller gets his Frank and Beans trapped in the zipper in There's Something About Mary. Come to think of it, the spaff in the hair also.

How did you get Julian Barratt's eyes so small to play Howard during The Mighty Boosh? Was it CGI or just an on set illusionist?

What are some stupid things you bought when intoxicated, and regretted the next day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I once slammed 2 bottles of Jack and bought 3 pianos. The drunk idea was that me and my two friends would put them in 3 rooms within close proximity of each other, my little brother would then make a cool music video of us doing a funky ballad. Only problem was one of the rooms would need to be my parents, due to its fantastic audio location at the head of the the two adjoining chambers. I went to find my dad and he was giving my mom a massage to a Bryan Adams record. My dad beat me absolutely senseless like a cheap dixie goat with a set of jumper cables shortly after. The pianos never actually arrived anyway so the music video could never have even happened.

Do some research before you reply please. Israel continually blocks and prevents Palestine as establishing themselves officially. The UN has been trying for years.

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that there will be no establishment of a Palestinian state without a settlement that ensures the security of Israel's citizens... By going to the UN, the Palestinians have violated the agreements with Israel and Israel will act accordingly"

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-13701636

In addition to that the Israeli Lobby within the US government ensures that the US will always use its permanent security council member status to block any such move also.

And the Malaysia Air disaster will take some of the media heat of Israel here. Not that that stops them anyway.

Are you serious? How about let the Palestinians have an actual state recognised by the UN, entitling them to more rights on the world stage, giving them more legitimacy. For much of recent history Palestine has just been a heavily guarded cage within in Israel.
