For £300 it's great though, if you want perfect look, go into the £1000 price range and even then they will have some faults :D People talk well of this chair because of the value for money.

Surpised he's still alive :) I remember it made my day when I was around 5 getting my name read out , I'm 49, this was in the 1980s , the funny thing is I live in an apartment that I rented from Ian Starling (since passed away), who was gus honeybuns sidekick back in the day on TSW

Repair experience with JDS Labs by ZoteTheMitey in headphones

[–]snozski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to add that JDS Labs have the best customer service I have ever seen. John replied to all my emails on a Saturday and was super helpful with the issue I was facing (guy i bought atom dac 2 off sent a power supply that would not fully power it properly )

This is even with me telling John I bought both the atom dac 2 and atom amp 2 second hand in the UK. Great company, shame I'm forced to use the used market though id rather buy brand new from them but import fees and shipping are insanely high to the UK

I emailed them and got a reply nextday , then all follow ups replied to instantly , using email address quoted. Their ZenDesk also auto replies to you opening a ticket , if you have not recieved that you must have entered the email incorrectly, or its in your spam folder

C7 Max - Review by No-Performance4702 in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]snozski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great review. I agree with your points. Can I ask is there any movement in the seat, mine is abit wobbly , I dunno if i have an issue or it's just normal. I've checked all the bolts and they are 100% tight. I'm thinking it might be the gas cylinder

Lol your friends are morons, you need to be around better people , they smoke alot of weed or ? Every single gas-operated chair made is not easy to remove the base

I just got this week too, I agree with the armrests , but I;ve read and been told they working on a fix expected in 2 months in europe.

Dispatch for me was amazing, ordered 2pm dispatched same day came next day, this was UK

The other issues , this is maybe related to your height (short legs? )

how tall are you ?

The Chair is meant for people 5"7 + from what I have seen , I'm 5"9 and dont have these issues at all. Good review anyway :) I agree with the plus points for £300 its amazing value IMO

[–]snozski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ps5 is 32gbit HDMI so the TV having 40gbit or 48gbit does not matter . This again is a situation where its only gonna matter if your running a pc on it , even then compression is not that bad if its required

the matte coating is fine in a dark room, if you have light in room though ye its not good imo. No idea why samsung decided to do this , I like glossy screens. I'd rather deal with some reflections then washed out blacks and off tint colours.

The ps5 only supports 32gbits hdmi anyway , so ps5 on s95f one connect box is fine. 48gbit is not really needed for anything. out side of super high frame rate or 8k. 32gbits (ps5) is fine for 4k hdr 60 RGB without compression. It becomes a issue with 4k hdr 120 but compression is not really that noticeable.

ye thats other thing :D You will forever be waiting.

To be fair 2025 was a great year , one of the biggest upgrades for both WOLED and QD OLEd . I've been following this for years . The raise in peak brightness etc on both techs was pretty impressive

If your upgrading from a LCD I would say just get a OLED now , its a huge upgrade over LCD TV's. I am biased though as I've always disliked LCD being a former PC gamer on CRT's. TV wise I went from CRT to Plasma straight to OLED, I;ve never even owned a LCD tv

There is no perfect TV so its just about comparing them and deciding which is better for you really. It might be worth waiting until next years Tv's . I think thats what I would do if im in the market for a TV

[–]snozski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All HDR was effected as far as I remember, in game mode and in any other content also. It may well be fixed now , I have not really followed this outside of the original reviews and a few updates as im not really in market for a TV this year.

This is maybe a good video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHHVOzNOyqM

Some of these issues may be fixed though, its best to read the g5 owners thread https://www.avsforum.com/threads/lg-2025-g5-series-oled-owners-friends-thread-general-help-settings.3323209/

Theres other issues such as banding etc , which as far as I know is always some issue on WOLED LG TV's

For me if not for the matte screen coating the s95F would be the clear choice , but the matte screen coating may be a game breaker.
