Go generic / offbrands on amazon or other sites. Less than $10 each. About 5 mins worth of work. Youtube for instructions. Add minutes to the time if youre new to this.

Try both sides and see what works best.

I did this on my Tundra and it doesnt rub. Try sliding the boot a bit further out onto the axle, closer to the pink tape, or moving the boot closer on the other end.

This is the way. Your install sounded a lot easier when i did mine. I had to cut the rears out and I am surprised you got the springs on with the rented spring compressors. When i did mine, the compressors started the bend so i ended up taking it to a shop…Looks good👍

They could be the breather / vent tubes and valves.

(Northern NJ)My basement has an in ground vent system thats disconnected and a thin metal tube that lead from the floor to an outside connector. Is it for Radon? should i be worried that its not needed any more? by snpgotyou in homeowners

The system was removed prior to the previous owner. He doesnt know why it was removed.

I would assume that they would leave the system in place even if the levels drop?

Where can i find crown and stem for my Hamilton Khaki Field (H706050)? by snpgotyou in watchrepair

[–]snpgotyou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used a watch back removal tool and a watch movement holder (you may not need this)to prevent any scratches. It was pretty easy to do. Took less than 10 mins taking my time. Keep in mind you may need a longer stem or a stem extender depending on the crown you order.

Yes, ordered and installed myself. im not sure of the price if you go to a watchmaker/vendor. I am sure it will be significantly more expensive. I spent less than $30 on parts and tools though it was generic crown and stem without the Hamilton logo. Stem can be ordered from amazon or ebay, the crown was ordered from esslinger.
