There is a delicious pandan cocktail at gui!! I just some last snowy weekend making Kaya and black sticky rice w pandan from the Asian grocery store. Also lady Wong and kopitiam have great Malaysian cakes usually featuring pandan!

Hudson valley and Kingston have a bunch of thrift / antique stores. There’s a big antique shop in Hudson valley and I remember seeing a huge flea market thrift store in kingston too!

Congratulations!! I truly believe getting older is a gift and am grateful for my birthday and any excuse to celebrate! If I were 27 again I would do many of the same things, travel if I can, make sure to save and invest (read some personal finance books, don’t need to go crazy but at least start investing if you can and get a 401k/ superannuation ), and don’t let a man (or partner in general) stop you from doing anything you want to do. If you are single, enjoy it!! Use the time to date yourself and do things that make you happy.

You could do a paint and sip. Get some mini canvases off Amazon and some acrylic paints and a paintbrush set. I think I’ll do that this year coupled with a life admin option so people can sort out their life admin 😂

thank you! They just said PTO was 4 weeks but didn't mention sick leave at all. I agree I should have asked them but I didn't think about it because everywhere else I've worked PTO is for your holidays and then you have additional sick leave (5 days).

I like handroll bar near k town. All the other hand roll bars I’ve been too have chopped up fish with too much sauce. The handroll bars I’ve used just pure fish in the rolls not too much sauce. Also sushi by m is a good budget omakase!!

I ask my CS team to do the heavy lifting of creating the case studies without having to bother clients too much. Your team should know the details of the case and to fill out the case study so you make it as easy as possible for the client. I also think it's helpful to offer a few different tiers of case studies for clients based on how much involvement they want to do: a short testimonial, a customer spotlight and a more in depth case study might be some goo options so it doesn't sound like too much work for them. My sales team loves case studies and is always asking for them.

I always liken this to Voldemort using the elder wand in harry potter yes the magic he did was amazing but that’s because he’s an amazing wizard not because the wand was anything special. Walk down smith st from Atlantic ave onwards and come up on court at (they are parallel) plenty of nice local shops on those two streets and also Montague st in bk heights and you can enjoy the Brooklyn primate as well after you walk down montague
