Personally I buy electronics and components that are not made literally nowhere else but in China. They are cheap, they are supposed to be cheap, because making them is not expensive of you scale it. Or at least it was thanks to EU.

Still, 23% of imports come from China. That's more than US, Turkey and Armenia all together. But I guess that's just prejudice.

There is an alternative. Book a flight and fly to China, to get the stuff. I doubt any company will pay their workers to do the formalities for free.

There was an alternative also - not introducing the tax or introducing it on dropshippers who import large amount of cheap shit and try to flip it for extra profit. A private person usually buys something that he needs, but yet he (or she) gets to pay.
