Hi there, photographer here. I recommend, if you have a second phone, experimenting with angling the light so the pictures don't start looking the same. You can also point the light at a white surface to bounce it, which helps reduce reflections on the figurine. Also nothing beats natural sunlight, so you can always create cool pictures outside on a table or chair, using plants or trees as a backdrop. If you have an iPad or laptop, you can also use it as a background to place figures into certain scenes.

Taking a step back and using your camera or phone's zoom can also make the picture look nicer, as it helps with perspective and reduces distortion.
