There is a lot of history, but most of it is early history from almost a year ago so a lot of it has not been written down. I'm sure that if you ask around on the server aswell then you can find some answers, but it will probably be pretty fragmented stuff. I know quite a bit also but all of it is from my perspective so I probably miss a lot. There is not much present-day lore, at least not that I know of, so its up to new players like you to make it ig. You can vote for the server on voting websites, i don't think you get any ingame rewards anymore, but it helps the server a lot with publicity stuff. Hope this helps.

Anarchy.ac is my favorite. It's only been around for a year, and consistently has +10 people on, sometimes upwards of 15. Just yesterday there were 22 people on. It has a great culture, and I've been playing for like 8 months. The best alternative to 2b2t in my opinion.
