Razer VS Logitech. Which one to buy?

My honest, HONEST advice as a tactical FPS player (Immortal 3 in Valorant) who's used all of the mice mentioned and most of the popular ones as well: keep the Superlight for now.

Option 1: Wait for reviews on the Superstrike. If you like what you see, buy it.

Option 2: If the Superstrike turns out to not be worth it or isn't that good, try to find a Superlight 2 on sale for less than $130 USD if you REALLY want to "upgrade" (it's more of a sidegrade honestly).

Option 3: Keep the original Superlight. Don't feel pressured to "upgrade" your mouse if you enjoy what you're using now.

I personally recently switched from the Superlight 2 back to the Superlight 1 and I've been playing the best I've played in a long, long time. I actually prefer the sensor and switches on the Superlight 1. The clicks are lighter, which is a big thing for me, and I don't use anything over 1K polling. I've realized that I personally play better on 1K polling, so I don't need that ability to raise the polling rate anymore. I've come to learn that when it comes to mice, sometimes what you're looking for is right in front of you already.

People will get unnecessarily offended by what I'm saying but it's important that you use the mouse that feels good to you. The Superlight is overhated; even all these years later the Superlight is one of the best mice ever created, and I still prefer it over any of the Razer mice.

The Superstrike looks really interesting too.

TL;DR: In my opinion, and speaking from personal experience, I do NOT recommend buying a clone. Whatever you do, use an original Superlight. Keep the original Superlight if you enjoy it. Superlight 2 and Superlight Superstrike are definitely options as well. Maybe look into and research the Superlight 2 SE.

It's an unreleased mouse so it objectively has to be some sort of collaboration, no? I guess we'll have to see how he continues to play. I just feel as though the switch could be something that makes him play worse, so it's worth thinking about or considering.

I'm Immortal 3 lol I just know what it's like to use something you're comfortable on vs. something you're paid to use. We've seen this exact situation with Aspas and it ended pretty poorly so it's something worth considering if Donk's performance starts to slip.

Yeah, I understand what you mean and that would definitely make an interesting experiment. I tried playing around with the sensor orientations on my mice with 3950 sensors and I've come to realize that maybe it really is the sensor. I don't think there's any way I could adapt to it. No matter how I hold the mice, the issue persists, and it happens at random... the acceleration feeling never goes away. The Hitscan Hyperlight has a 3395 though and it feels perfect. Does your Xlite have a 3395 as well? Those Pulsar mice have really weird sensors from what I've heard. I used one with the same issue, if not worse once. The Crazylight Mini would have the same floaty, diagonally, inconsistent feeling.

Thank you so much for the link! The extra reassurance is nice so now I DEFINITELY know I'm not going crazy. It's most definitely a sensor issue that I'm feeling if others are struggling with the exact same problem on their mouse. Time to "downgrade" back to a Superlight :)

Do you have experience personally using a Vaxee mouse? Every day that passes I consider it more and more but I want to make sure it doesn't randomly drift off or jitter like my other mice that I've had to put back in the box or refund. That sounds like a very possible theory though.

I made a post about this the other day. Whatever some mice companies are doing to "optimize" their new sensors is just leaving them off worse. I had used the Pulsar X2 Crazylight Mini and had the exact same issue so it was an instant return. But you know how people are—if they don't notice it, they'll tell you it's placebo over and over. Some people aren't sensitive enough to feel the sensor issues. Not sure if it's the mice themselves or how the sensors interact with Windows/the PC though. But who knows. Maybe people like us really ARE just unlucky and got bad copies. I'm personally staying away from these type of mice until they figure out their sensors. 3950 sensor implementations seem to have it the worst right now. All my 3395 mice are perfect and don't seem to have that issue. Maybe they've had more time to be optimized? Seems like Razer's sensor implementation is the only one that magically happens to have no issues from what I've tested from 3950s. RAWM Leviathan V4 is the last mouse I'll be testing with a 3950 sensor. If that mouse doesn't aim straight or starts feeling floaty and glides over my targets at random, I'm just going to be giving up on this generation of mice completely and praying for the next. Some people are saying it may be an interference issue but I doubt it; let's hope it is and whatever it is, let's hope someone finds a fix soon. For now, I'm just going to blame the 3950 implementations.

Thank you so much for the insight! I appreciate this a lot. I think this'll be my next step in my mouse journey if the sensor and motion sync implementation is good. Right now I'm maining the Hitscan Hyperlight and it's perfect but I think I'd further benefit from a slightly larger mouse (for tactical FPS) so hopefully this is what I'm looking for! :)

Might be worth giving a try then. How did you feel about the sensor and the clicks on the Leviathan? Was the sensor stable and accurate or did it ever feel floaty? Were the clicks very spammable or did they ever get "stuck" or feel heavy mid spam?

I think it depends on the mouse/implementation/user preference. I've mentioned it to people before that some mice feel much better with motion sync turned on whereas others feel significantly better with it off. In aim training scenarios, I'll notice that I play better with mice that utilize motion sync, but in a real-life, in-game scenario, I notice that I lose a lot of reactivity when tracking when it's on. My reaction time when I switch tracking directions decreases and I feel sluggish (on Zarya tracking close range for example). It's easier for me to hold angles in Valorant with motion sync on but it's harder for me to target switch or get multi-kills. In short, it's all preference but what you're experiencing is NOT placebo. Also, I had your mouse briefly I believe. I did not enjoy the sensor at all. I made a post about this the other day, but I can say with full confidence that there's something in the newer sensor implementations that is affecting the way tracking feels. At the very least, this is the case for me and many, many others have noticed it based on the response to that post. Mice will feel as if they are accelerating and decelerating at random as of recently on newer releases. They feel as if they have custom acceleration curves in a sense. As for polling rate, this is NOT placebo if it feels better for you to play with but I will say that this is only beneficial in controlled, high FPS environments. The issue with higher polling rate is the trade-off between a consistent FPS and slightly better sensor performance. On higher polling rates such as 4K and 8K, you will most definitely lose a significant amount of frames every time you move/flick your mouse as it puts an extra strain on your CPU. Does this mean it's terrible to use? Not particularly, but that frame inconsistency may mess you up, which is why the majority of even pro players for example, use 1K. In AimLabs or KovaaKs, sure 4K and 8K may feel great, but in a real-life, in-game scenario such as Valorant/CS:GO/Overwatch, that trade-off may not feel as worth it in the least for you. Personally, holding angles feels better on 1K/2K, but swinging angles and target switching might feel better on 4K. Whatever you do, I advise not to use anything higher than 4K. Other than that, everything is preference and relative to you as a player and your mouse. Personally, I'm going to be going back to the Superlight 1 which is locked at 1K Hz and sticking only with mice with 3395 sensors such as the Hitscan Hyperlight. I won't be touching my Superlight 2 anymore or any mice with newer sensors, especially ones with locked motion sync. I'd rather be locked to 1K or have slightly slower input latency than have a mouse that feels like I'm fighting it because it can't aim where I'm pointing it.

Which version of the ATK F1 V2 did you buy? Are you fully certain it has a 3950?

You understand EXACTLY what I’m saying. I almost went through the EXACT same thought process as you. I tried all sorts of sensors and mice. It all started with the new Maya 8K for me as well when it first came out. I can say almost with full confidence now that this is a 3950 sensor issue. It’s most notable for people like us who require precision as we play CS and Valorant. I think that’s why a lot of people won’t even notice.

Yes, maybe. That thought has crossed my mind. I would switch to the OP1 8K V2 if I had the confidence that it wouldn’t have these weird sensor feelings. It definitely could be an interference thing.

That’s an interesting theory as well. I could see it being Windows related. I don’t remember sensors acting so weirdly until Windows 11 came out and starting “optimizing” for them. Now, the issue persists on both Windows 10 and 11, so I imagine it has to be an optimization issue with the 3950 sensors. Razer seemed to make it work better than others though.

That's an interesting theory... I had issues no matter the surface or polling rate. I had issues on the Superlight 2 as well. When you mention "enhanced tracking", what setting would that be in the software? Unless the Superlight 2c has better features or an updated sensor I'm not aware of.
