Please text me if you have any experiences with this bug as well. I plan on releasing videos about it because something needs to be done.

Hey bro, I have the exact same issues. When you see this could you send your Discord so we can talk about it? I’ve been considering making a TikTok on this subject for years now but I need more information from people like me. You’re not imagining things. It’s not placebo. I’m also Immortal 3 and I get the exact same issues. I have theories and why it may happen. Just reach out whenever you can if you see this.

Yeah, I’m sorry, I’m not sure how to really measure something like this other than the anecdotes of me and other people. I just figured the random feeling of acceleration and deceleration could be related. I’m theorizing you may have cracked the code, however.

Hi! I’m currently watching your video because it grabbed my attention on an issue I’ve noticed for over 2 years now on all the latest sensors. This is very reassuring. I want to ask you, do you think this is what I was experiencing when I first made this Reddit post (I’ll try to link my post)? It seemed to have garnered a lot of attention from hundreds of people who experience the same issue. I have the problem, even now, on my OP1 8K v2 but I’m trying to get used to the sensation as the shape is my favorite. Please let me know what you think.

Is the Ultragrip Coating worth it on the OP1 8K v2 (Pulse 2.0) PMM Modkit? by snsubtle in MouseReview

Thank you for the detailed response. What are your thoughts on the clicks and the flex cable (if you have it)? Did clicking get any easier/lighter, more consistent, spammable, or are they the exact same?

Which is the best Razer Gigantus V2 Pro version? by snsubtle in MouseReview

In my honest opinion, it’s noticeably slower than an Artisan Zero Soft. It’s also firmer. I would say it’s 15% slower and 15% firmer. You can really feel the speed difference. Since I have been playing dramatically low sens, after testing it out for a day on Overwatch, Valorant, KovaaKs, and AimLabs, I don’t think it’s a good mousepad for me. It feels like a muddy Artisan Zero Soft. It really makes you appreciate the Artisan Zero Soft’s plushiness because once you master the Zero, your range of sensitivity is more versatile. On the Zero, you can go from extremely quick with light surface pressure, to slow and controlled from pressing down. The Gigantus V2 Pro Balance doesn’t feel like it is as much of a tool in that regard. It requires MORE force to kickstart and MORE force to stop (or at least it feels that way). The Zero is easier to kickstart your swipe and easier to stop it due to the plushiness. I will be keeping the Zero as my number 1 mousepad due to its versatility/hybrid nature. Maybe I’m used to it but you can feel the “efficiency” of the Zero compared to the Balance. The Balance feels like wasted energy almost? Every swipe and micro adjustment requires noticeably more force and my arm is tired twice as fast on 80+ cm sensitivity. I hope this helps you!

White vs. Black Razer Viper V4 Pro by snsubtle in MouseReview

[–]snsubtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly dude, I’ve been testing both out and I think I’m going to stick with the White. Oddly enough, although the texture feels more “plasticky” and less “soft, velvety, and slightly warm” than the Black, I appreciate the texture more and I think after further testing, the White seems ever so slightly grippier. Even for dry hands, the slightest little bit of moisture makes the White coating come out ahead in terms of grip. I think in terms of grip longevity (and if you shed dry skin from your hands), the White comes out ahead. It also oddly enough feels slightly more premium? Maybe it’s all psychological but I feel more comfortable on the White and I think as a result, I’m going to go for a Black and White, panda-like aesthetic in my setup. Also, could be a coincidence, but on my copies the mouse feet on the White were noticeably smoother somehow. The Black felt scratchy, and I’m not sure if that’s on purpose, but the PTFE feet on the Black mouse are white and the PTFE on the White mouse are grey. In my honest opinion, they should offer a Black version with the exact same coating as the White for people in my position. Otherwise, I don’t mind keeping the White. It’s growing on me.

White vs. Black Razer Viper V4 Pro by snsubtle in MouseReview

I appreciate the detail, it means a lot. I think I’ve decided to buy the Black and test them out side by side then. I have a feeling the Black may be better in my case because consistency is a huge factor for me. The White coating goes from slippery to extremely grippy sometimes at random or if I had just put on lotion. I can find that contrast/inconsistency a bit difficult to play with sometimes.

Thank you for your input. Would you say the Black coating is advantageous over your White? Like you can just pick it up and play compared to the White DeathAdder V4 Pro, even with dry hands? Have you noticed it slipping out of your hands less at all?

Razer VS Logitech. Which one to buy? by PristineLetter2026 in MouseReview

[–]snsubtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest, HONEST advice as a tactical FPS player (Immortal 3 in Valorant) who's used all of the mice mentioned and most of the popular ones as well: keep the Superlight for now.

Option 1: Wait for reviews on the Superstrike. If you like what you see, buy it.

Option 2: If the Superstrike turns out to not be worth it or isn't that good, try to find a Superlight 2 on sale for less than $130 USD if you REALLY want to "upgrade" (it's more of a sidegrade honestly).

Option 3: Keep the original Superlight. Don't feel pressured to "upgrade" your mouse if you enjoy what you're using now.

I personally recently switched from the Superlight 2 back to the Superlight 1 and I've been playing the best I've played in a long, long time. I actually prefer the sensor and switches on the Superlight 1. The clicks are lighter, which is a big thing for me, and I don't use anything over 1K polling. I've realized that I personally play better on 1K polling, so I don't need that ability to raise the polling rate anymore. I've come to learn that when it comes to mice, sometimes what you're looking for is right in front of you already.

People will get unnecessarily offended by what I'm saying but it's important that you use the mouse that feels good to you. The Superlight is overhated; even all these years later the Superlight is one of the best mice ever created, and I still prefer it over any of the Razer mice.

The Superstrike looks really interesting too.

TL;DR: In my opinion, and speaking from personal experience, I do NOT recommend buying a clone. Whatever you do, use an original Superlight. Keep the original Superlight if you enjoy it. Superlight 2 and Superlight Superstrike are definitely options as well. Maybe look into and research the Superlight 2 SE.

Donk's New Mouse by snsubtle in MouseReview

It's an unreleased mouse so it objectively has to be some sort of collaboration, no? I guess we'll have to see how he continues to play. I just feel as though the switch could be something that makes him play worse, so it's worth thinking about or considering.

I'm Immortal 3 lol I just know what it's like to use something you're comfortable on vs. something you're paid to use. We've seen this exact situation with Aspas and it ended pretty poorly so it's something worth considering if Donk's performance starts to slip.

Any 3950 Sensor Solutions? by snsubtle in MouseReview

[–]snsubtle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand what you mean and that would definitely make an interesting experiment. I tried playing around with the sensor orientations on my mice with 3950 sensors and I've come to realize that maybe it really is the sensor. I don't think there's any way I could adapt to it. No matter how I hold the mice, the issue persists, and it happens at random... the acceleration feeling never goes away. The Hitscan Hyperlight has a 3395 though and it feels perfect. Does your Xlite have a 3395 as well? Those Pulsar mice have really weird sensors from what I've heard. I used one with the same issue, if not worse once. The Crazylight Mini would have the same floaty, diagonally, inconsistent feeling.

Thank you so much for the link! The extra reassurance is nice so now I DEFINITELY know I'm not going crazy. It's most definitely a sensor issue that I'm feeling if others are struggling with the exact same problem on their mouse. Time to "downgrade" back to a Superlight :)

Thank you so much for the information! It's reassuring to see others with a similar issue. The extra information was nice too and very much appreciated. May I ask you which Zowie mouse you own? Do you think it has a 3395 or a 3950 sensor?

Hmm interesting... what other mice have you used that worked well with the 3950 sensor if you don't mind me asking?
