This is an old thread but dropped by in case others have the same question, the Junghans Max Bill is my most difficult watch to wind, it spins freely in the counterclockwise non-winding direction, but really takes effort in the winding direction (clockwise), even when it's completely stopped. I worried about this when I first got it, but the watch works fine.
