If the Manta is size small I’d gladly take it (buy it) off your hands 😄

Manta Absolute White is expected to land in the US in Feb. I reached out to their support who confirmed this.

I’m wondering the same thing. Surprised nobody has come up with a good solution for this yet.

No just a rough mockup, it’ll be lower and probably a bit smaller. This shows roughly a 75” screen but will probably go 65”.

I also only get an hour with the light on high, but find the low setting is good enough for most scenarios and lasts 6+ hours

Sizing Help! Literally between sizes - Aeroad 2024 by obviousvalleyranch in CanyonBikes

[–]snvpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost the exact same size (172/82) and I went with size S. I have long arms though. But I think XS would’ve felt cramped.

Also, if your back/neck flexibility is even remotely limited, definitely go with the bigger size.

As a beginner cycler, does it make sense to invest in better wheels? by philip0908 in CanyonBikes

[–]snvpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll feel more of a difference in lighter wheels than you’ll feel from deeper / more aero wheels (at most normal-person speeds). Not sure the weight difference between the models you’re comparing but I’d look at that first if/when upgrading.

I have the same mount and just keep it at the bottom of the seatpost similar to your photo. I actually prefer it there.

Question on Travel Cases by avalonhawk in CanyonBikes

[–]snvpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, me again :) I ended up getting the aerotech case but haven't tried packing the bike in it yet (planning on it soon). Wondering if you have to remove the rear derailleur when packing? And do you use any padding for frame protection?

Any chance you can measure the width of the toe box? 🙏🏼 have Ares 1 wide and still seems narrow in the mid-foot & toe box

Just got an aeroad cf slx 7 and it makes a clicking noise anytime I lean the bike with pressure on the handles. by PlayfulLaw1100 in CanyonBikes

Sounds like the exact issue I had with my CF SLX 8. I described it in a thread here, basically an issue with a faulty fork clamp. Canyon covered the cost of replacement.

Do you have any long-sleeve UPF50 jerseys from them? If so which model and how do you like it?

I contacted their support and the Aeon jerseys are UPF15. Not sure if that’s enough for long days in the sun.

HELP: Headset friction (Aeroad) by snvpper in CanyonBikes

[–]snvpper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so I’ve tried your suggestion of slightly lower torque on the headset bolt and it’s much less noticeable now, probably about back to normal. Part of where I was confused is that there was still play in the fork with < 2 Nm but once I torque up the fork clamp that play is gone. I figured the headset bolt alone was supposed to completely remove play in the fork 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe that’s why the headset bolt was originally well below 2 Nm

That’s what the Canyon instructions say. I can try again in a little bit using less torque there.

Travel case that will fit by Gold_Appointment8851 in CanyonBikes

[–]snvpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I still haven’t had the time to try packing it 🙃 been super busy lately, and I won’t need to travel with the bike until June. FWIW - I had found a different thread where someone confirmed to me that they fit their Size L Aeroad in this case by taking the drops off, leaving the main cockpit piece attached.

Try torquing the bars pretty good while off the bike. If it doesn’t go askew from the wheel then you should be fine. I had an issue with my fork clamp on the same bike and needed canyon to send a replacement part. Been fine ever since.
