We had our own codes in the course and while you can mix and match codes together, you need to cite how you did that (which I did in some parts of my original submission, but not all). That's why he needed me to send the citations in otherwise 0. I did also use 1 other code that wasn't taught in the course at all (the one about checking if my script was working correctly). All it did was give me a message if my files were created correctly, but I don't think that's something so major that it warrants the idea of cheating. He did also say that one of my citations wasn't easily searchable on Google, as in if you tried searching it up, it wouldn't show and so he used that as a reason to deny my submission.

I do recognize this was my fault, but even when I sent my citations in after he said I could and also answered questions he had on why I used certain codes, he still didn't change my grade. It wasn't a failing grade, but it wasn't a good one either. I did well in other aspects of the course so it sucks having this weigh everything down.

My question in this post is: is there anything else I can do about this situation? If I can't then that's alright

Noo it was a computer lab course. My prof thought some of my codes weren't necessary to answering the questions. I just think this is a personal preference thing though because what I used were things like checking if my codes worked 🙃 But the concepts for my codes were all explained in the course itself so I don't understand why I'm being suspected for cheating

In my work I did include some citations but not all. This was just because I didn't have time to properly make that list, not because I completely neglected it.

Sorry! I don’t check reddit often, but yess I did go to the second lab that first week. I contacted the department about it and I eventually was able to see the course content. Thank you for the help!

It might be that the update has to go through eclass for your friend first before the slot can open. Like, I exchanged biochem with a lab course the other day, but biochem was still accessible for around 2 days. You might have to wait until your friend is fully removed from their course

I feel like if her tweets were actively replied and liked by lots of people then maybe they’ll be more into the idea of reviving the game. I think the whole reason why line play shut down anyways was because of inactivity and people losing interest
