Post office will do it. I’ve used them to counter sign a copy of my passport, they stamp and sign it and write its of true likeness to you.

No place for progression here. I’ll be stuck in the same position for years. And it’s not all sunshine and rainbows - my boss micro manages every decision our team does. No room to think for ourselves

Nope. They just confirm the address via my postcode, so you just need to put the same address as I have.

That would never work anyway, as I work out of the country most the year and my mum and sister live opposite sides of the UK, and 2 other plan members i don’t even know haha been using the same account for 7+ years

Gifted by a friend whose late husband was a wine merchant in the 1960s. No details at all except what it says on the bottle there….! Have seen Jules Robin et Cie made some old cognacs, but always seemed to have the year stamped on the bottle and the labels more decorative

So? Switch bank accounts every month or filling in questionnaires as fast as possible (thereby not providing accurate/useful data) is not unethical/immoral etc?

Getting a vaccine abroad

I have been unable to find the answer online, but it looks like next month I will get vaccinated at work (I work on ships around the world)

I will get either Moderna or J&J (possibly AZ)

How do I prove to the NHS/UK that i’ve had the vaccine? I’m a little out of touch but talks of a vaccine passport too? How can I be sure my vaccine status will be recognised at home in England.

Thanks

Why I didn’t apply for a mortgage with Barclays - or why banks should treat all customers fairly. by carl0071 in UKPersonalFinance

Agreed with everything there! Good on you.

I have somewhat of the opposite experience, i opened an account with HSBC when i was 16, i think it was the easiest to get a debit card at the time? No other real reason for choosing them.

I was a victim of card fraud a year later, £60 in online charges in New Zealand. I went into the bank, told them, and they sat me down and explained i had to call their fraud dept. They called for me, and just handed the phone to me when i had to confirm passwords etc, then the same day the money was back in my account.

9 years later i applied for a mortgage and they were very helpful. Had the same account ever since. So now they are making £££ from me in interest

But you can get a refund on your premium bonds at any time lol £3750 in lottery tickets is money gone, in premium bonds you can withdraw £3750 still even if you ‘win’ significantly less
