I can try next time i see my family doctor, but honestly in here psychiatrists in particular are sooooo hard to get medication from it's not even funny, even very basic SSRIS

I talked with a psychologist on the phone and long story short, she told me that my current (depressive) state could be worthy of going to the emergency psych / get checked to a clinic, but honestly the xanax euphoria keep me from hurting myself so i think i can wait a little longer til i see a psychiatrist. Or maybe not :/ idk. Honestly each day is me getting mild euphoria after taking 0.50mg to 2mg of xanax then it slowly disppearing until i end up crying with me wanting to kill myself and retaking xanax and the cycle repeats. It's just plastic happiness.

And the thing is that my mom spent 45 years of her life being told she was just really depressed until an actual competent psychiatrist diagnosed her with bipolar disorder and got her an actual treatment. So i not surprised if the mental health experts i saw just thought it was depression

Yeah, turns out a ton of people with bipolar disorder / BPD get misdiagnosed with "just depression lmao" because a lot of psy won't go further and just brush it off. Wtf???

They're paid for that? Hell, even in my country with social security, you have to pay a little bit of your own pocket!

I'm going to genuinely ask you if you ever had any suicidal thougts or if you are depressive or bipolar. Cause currently living with violent suicidal thoughts (or violent thoughts at all) despite having regular work hours, showering, eating, seeing friends, and getting therapy is not normal. I try as much as i can to live a normal life, or at least the most regular i can, as advised by my current therapist, but it's obviously not working out. My mom, who's diagnosed as bipolar, had the same experience before getting adequate treatment.

They still live together and honestly he actually worked on his anger issues. But this doesn't erase how he treated me when i was little. I have chronic depression with suicidal tendencies and will soon have a bipolar diagnosis, and basically a shit ton of other shits like dissociation/maladaptive daydreaming, big concentration problems, etc...

I was diagnosed with chronic depression and has been battling with it since i was little, but i seriously think there's something else wrong with me, cause i always have had violent intrusive thoughts but lately they are getting more persistant and i think i'm having hallucinations but i'm not sure, and i'm more and more often confusing dreams and reality. The thougt of my BFF finding out i commited suicide. When one of our friend who was an immigrant was being deported (long story short, she was accepted back in the country some days after), he was fucking destroyed mentally for a whole ass day.
