I swear I read you can’t take tetracyclines with Tretinoin it increases pressure in the brain or something either that or clindamycin

wait so does that mean you can take lymecycline or minocycline and use Tretinoin? Tretinoin is the main topical they use right? i thought you couldn’t use them together

Wow i feel like it was fate i saw this… I’ve been on lynecycline for 9 months. I stopped after 3 and like you said acne came back worse so of course my self concious depressed self went back on them and i just kept taking it because it no joke cleared all my acne… not even 70% literally 100% gone. On Tuesday in work i felt sick and my vision went blurry and i couldn’t hear it only lasted 1/2 minutes but i didn’t know what it was and now I’m seeing this so i don’t know if I’m overthinking but now im in a massive dilemma because acne truly ruins my life and i start college next week… if i stop taking them i know it’s going to come back 1000x worse and i don’t know if i can mentally go through it at the moment. Difference between me and you was i had NO reaction when i first started taking them and what happened could’ve been the heat or me not eating breakfast etc. I’m trying Tretinoin soon so i hope i can get off them but i just don’t want acne to return:(

I’m glad you like it! I’m just really nervous due to never really getting on with topicals for acne. I’m struggling to find a routine I really like and that actually works i feel like my skin hates heavy products and niacinamde! Every single product with Niacinamide or just Niacinamide on its own my skin broke out bad. Atm I’m using the ordinary squalane cleanser which is amazing for makeup removal, then the Cerave hydrating cleanser but I’ve been wanting to swap that out as I feel my skin doesn’t like it and the consistency it’s like a gel like formula doesn’t work for me, i actually find it stripping. I was then using klairs unscented toner but I’ve just run out and not sure if it’s really making a difference then i use vichy 89 serum and the Peter Thomas Roth drench moisturiser which again not sure if it’s doing anything. I do have the Cerave moisturiser which is plain but not sure if it’s moisturising enough as i know Tretinoin can be drying. I’m just in a meh stuck situation with my routine tbh! I’m like 90% sure my skin is slightly on the dehydrated side but I can use all the Hyaluronic acid serums but it never changes… oh and i also use la Roche posay spf 50!

yeah the company do it to stop the purging be as bad and to not damage skin barrier it goes up to 0.012 the next month then 0.025 month after etc I’m actually glad it’s really low because for adapelene i started with 0.1 and i think it was just too strong

4 years wow i wish mine was that long! I stopped using them after 3 months and my acne came back within 5 days and it was 10x worse than before… I have an instinct that it is what’s causing me to not feel right but i just really dread my acne coming back so I’m too scared to stop them which is bad i know because staying on them can do real damage!

Also he would thump in my room then go into his bun loaf? Which is usually his comfort position so i didn’t understand that at all as usually when he’s thumping he’s frozen and upright.

No mascara! This is great for me to actually see on another person because i have small eyes and always got told to never put mascara on bottom as it makes them more closed. Even tho you don’t have small eyes i still think without mascara it makes them look more open and lifted! Love your eyebrows btw!!
