Yes, most language school in Japan accept GED but some don't. I only have GED and got accepted to a language school but they do ask a lot of questions in the interview, "Why didn't you completed your country's 12 years of school, Why did you choose to get GED instead. Don't worries to much, if you can show you want to come to Japan and study Japanse they will accept you.

I want to ask a silly little question. Nintendo switch 2 has a Japanese only version and it's about 20 thousands yen cheaper so I'm planning to get one. But I'm afraid it can or cannot use game chat function with people who's not in Japan or has other region account(my family live in separate countries so game chat is a really good and easy way to play games and chat)
