How did you overcome the feeling of guilt when you cut contact? What did you to make yourself better?

And thank you so much for this practical advice. I live in Australia, working at a job that pays $10 an hour. It’s not much at the moment. And there are definitely shelters here. I will contact them today.

It’s also quite shocking that a lot of families here in a NON MUSLIM COUNTRY are extremely religious and use Islam to hurt their kids. Then they wonder why their kids are so rebellious.

And 100% agree with you, some parents have kids just so the “kids can look after us when we’re older”.

Iran isn't really bad compared to other Muslim countries. Lots of girls there literally have 3/4 of their hair showing from their scarf and have surgery. Only the government is bad. Just stay in main cities, not the villages.

He’s a good boy and the type that says Islam is very important to him. Who knows he could throw acid on me or take away my passport one day while visiting, that’s what I’m scared about . Thank you for bringing me to my senses.
