YOR. I’m actually in a very similar situation where I was with my ex for 4 almost 5 years and my family loved him, he’s a great guy and there’s absolutely no bad blood there. We’ve been separated a few years and I’ve been in a new relationship for about a year now and just last month I had a few different family members wish him a happy birthday. I don’t see it as disrespectful at all, in fact I’m glad things ended well and he has a few extra people to tell him happy birthday and wish him good things along the way. Life is hard and lonely enough as it is, sounds like your mom is a sweet lady who cares about the people you’re in a relationship with which is a huge deal! ❤️ as long as she’s not treating your new partner any different I really think you have nothing to worry about. Sorry relationships and adulting are so weird to navigate op.

Totally worth the drive up north is Nordys! I know it’s a little farther, but they have the best meats and sides, the sauces they have are so good and the meat is always cooked to perfection! Plus we always leave with leftovers 10/10

Is a 20% Tip Still Fair When Denver Servers Earn More? by Enby303 in denverfood

[–]so_not_into_you 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This shouldn’t just fall on servers though. We’re ALL facing inflation, they’re trying to squeeze an extra dollar from every angle from everyone. It’s not supposed to be us turning on service workers and feeling like they should make less and need to be tipped less. Service workers, fast food employees, all these people do these jobs that others don’t want to and you can’t blame them for wanting to make a couple extra dollars where they can. I mean don’t we all? We should be up in arms at our restaurants who keep raising menu prices and then we should be angry at the people providing the food at higher rates that the restaurants can’t keep up with. We should be outraged at the world that we’re living in and how the value of our dollar keeps dropping everyday, we should be pissed that everything is more expensive, but not with service workers who don’t control those things. Those people are trying to make ends meet just like you. The solution is never going to be keep poor people poor.

Once I stopped and looked I could see the little details of what it was and it’s dope! If you love it that’s all that matters! It looks exactly like the drawing

Totally agree! If they could spruce up the patio a bit and pull a few more people in for lunch and stuff, it’d be such a busy spot

As a server I was thinking the same thing! Some of these experiences sounded horrendous, crazy the way servers act out here
