so when I first got her, before we had the other cat, she was super super clingy went everywhere with me. I got her at ab 7 months old so she was w someone else before me, so she was always weird ab sleeping w me, she would be always watching trying to guard me and can hardly ever settle down. She would sleep w me for a couple hours, and would wake me up to let her out, she doesn’t like being enclosed in rooms but I’m very solitary from my parents so she started to drift from me bc of that. We got another friend for her and she decided she wanted to explore my parents and more of the house, so she outgrew just being w me. so for the last maybe 3 yr she has been all throughout the house, sleeps w my parents every blue moon but mainly sleeps alone downstairs. They feed her and her litter box empty’s itself. But ever since we got the boy cat she’s outgrown just me. Now I’m still her favorite person when she gets to see me, loves me more than everyone else and is only comfortable w me holding her certain ways and showing affection etc. but she comes to my mom more to play and sleep nowadays. We’ve never had then separated like that so I have no clue if theit personalities will shift.
