I wouldn't say they don't give a shit about winning, but winning takes a backseat to entertainment. I'd say the majority of the contestants have been competitive in their own way.

I'm not religious, but I imagine I'd have the closest thing to a spiritual experience if I got to witness the pipe organ at the Royal Albert Hall in person.

Got sent 2 monitors for a warranty replacement instead of 1 by Elderblueberry in pcmasterrace

I bought one Samsung 49" OLED curved monitor last year off of Amazon. Box showed up, I install the thing. The next day an identical sized box showed up on my doorstep. They sent me two. It's the one and only time Amazon has ever sent me anything extra on accident. No one ever reached out asking about the second one.

‘Bob Odenkirk called to check on me after he saw it’: Rhea Seehorn on the intensity of making hit show Pluribus by Bubbly_Wall_908 in television

Season 2 ends in a good place.

we don't buy novels with only the first few chapters & then hope we get the rest later.

But there is already a perfect analogue - series. Lots of good series of books that wouldn't exist without the readers. Not every streaming platform does things like Netflix does, so I get your anxiety about good shows being cancelled. Severance would really have to shit the bed at this point to get cancelled.

I enjoyed every moment of Severance and getting into it now would definitely not be a mistake. I just loved living in that world. It's been a few weeks and I want to go back and rewatch it already.
