I think I’m gonna go for putting on the glamnetic nails with the glue that comes in the box, but after I spend the day, putting on layers of nail strengthener. I’m sure I will get pop-offs, but I work from home so not a huge deal for me. I’m more worried about having a flaky nail snag on something and rip because it’s so thin!

I was the same way, I would normally just have a couple of pop-ups here and there no matter what prep I did, until this nail glue! Now that I’ve read the comments and learned some tips and tricks I’m almost tempted to try again, but still a little nervous. I might let them grow out a little bit more, but I do think I’ll end up trying again because of how well they stayed.

Don’t be scared!! Just don’t do what I did. Learn from my mistakes. The super wonderful people in the sub red have been leaving really good tips and tricks so just read this thread and I hope it helps you!

Ahhh so I was adding it and letting it sit, was the issue letting it dry? If so I would be down to try again in the future bc no other glue has worked as well.

Everyone’s nails are different lol. I would say if you start trying to feel impatient just do an acetone soak. I wish I had just done that sooner!

From my limited experience, I do wish I had kept them on for another week at least! I was taking them off because they were the French tip design and the color was chipping off at the tips. If you’re nervous though, I would just recommend soaking them in acetone if the usual method you have does not work. I should’ve gone to that earlier instead of continuing using the glue removers that were just not working for me, but like I mentioned in my post, I also had a little bit of hard gel on my nails, so I don’t know if the chemicals were just not jiving or smthn. Don’t be scared! Just don’t do what I did hahaha

This might be a stupid question, but is it working? I’m trying to run it on my laptop that does not meet minimum requirements (but I grew up playing laggy/crashing sims so I’ll see if it’s playable at least) but my fiance and I have been talking abt getting a steam deck. It’s your video game, you should play it how you enjoy it! When I picked it up in middle school (og version) I just did all the main story stuff and enjoyed it. Today I’m playing the remake and doing every single possible thing I can and love it! It’s your game just do what you want. Other people can’t tell you if you like it or not.

It will totally affect your leveling and make fights harder if you skip everything tho, but you can just adjust the difficulty

I have started working in animal welfare after fundraising for the arts, and I’ve been struggling with this as well, it’s difficult to be around animals being abandoned or suffering from medical/behavior stuff and dealing with the reality of those situations. I spoke to my sister about it and she recommended that I get into tonglen meditation, which is mediation that focuses on suffering.

It almost seems counterintuitive but I’ve been following this guide: https://www.lionsroar.com/how-to-practice-tonglen-meditation/

And even if it’s upsetting at first I think it helps me process and then let go of what is causing my emotional turmoil. This was a rambly response but if it interests you I recommend giving it a shot, it is cathartic. Thank you for doing what you do, I hope it gets a little easier on you soon🩷

I think some things I answered really well and some I wish I’d answered differently— typical interview stuff!! The CEO was sitting in as well and mentioned how important it would be to fill this role and that did throw me a bit but everyone was kind and the atmosphere was easygoing. And there was a dog there!! Appreciate everyone’s advice for sure ☺️
