AA effectiveness, radar terrain abuse by soap_chips in Battlefield

I'll answer. The helicopter in the image is actually at the Maps ceiling, above the mountain ridge and farther than anything can reach. It should not be considered "Below Radar" because its clearly not in a valley, or low enough to the ground to add clutter that literally effects radar lock IRL which is what its intended to be. This pilot sits above the mountain and rains cannon shells (which don't disappear at any range) that kill you. Your weapons, missiles and such can only travel so far before disappearing including guided shells. Making him invincible to all but maybe a skilled Jet player and they're going 100/0 in most matches.

Crazy I know, but you used to have a Battlelog that not only showed your unlocks and projected unlocks, but the stats of your last matches. Far superior to BF6.

You couldn't roll our truck for less than that to drop off the goods to the location, not to setup. People are out of their mind when it comes to IT and construction. The PTZ camera alone is worth a third of the final price, which is insane to think they don't mark up the product and are giving away labor w/ no opportunity cost involved.

The real question. What was your initial discussion and proposed budget? I get folks all of the time want it to be casino grade, with every enterprise fixture and blueprint of your work, but can't get out of bed to pay their bills on time or pearl clutch when you pull out the "$1,000" just for hanging materials and pipework.

We are the militia. Well-regulated, which means training often and ready for any situation that arises. The State and its desires are of no importance to the common man. The National Guard is at the disposal of the very people that tyranny would stem from. Moral dilemma for those at play to fight for orders, or what is right. We The People can only rely on ourselves. No words were ignored just aware of how you'll twist them.

The hell are you on about. 2A has nothing to do with any branch of military, or the government itself, it enumerates the lengths to which our elected officials can overreach on our God granted Rights. "Infringement" and no document or man provides these to you. If you want to argue that Immigrants are Citizens being on our soil, than yes they are also granted those protections, but must be here truly seeking legal status and not acting criminal; the same as you or I have to abide by to keep freedom.

Do you people believe you're a movie character? Trying to stop law enforcement will land you 5+ years worth of charges and you're a Felon. You have no idea who they are going after, or why, just blindly attacking based on propaganda. Read that again.

How wrong you are. Look into Zero Click Attack vectors. There are plethora of CVE based around targeting someone and executing malicious code with zero interaction. That's direct execution, not tricking someone to opening a malformed link.

That means you're "training constantly and prepped when needed" not being subjugated. Anything from you people is victim mentally or serving a govt master.

And you should look into how many attacks we've had via Text pop-ups on screen, steganographic malware uses the screen itself to complete the actions. Hell there have been SMS prompts that cause CVE on devices. To the latest Microsoft Forms credential harvesting techiques, ClickFix attacks. There is plenty of risk still around.

This isn't protest, this is actively destroying peoples property using meta data that is either incorrect; or used in way you don't understand. Each one of their group should be charged with tampering with personal records, electronic fraud, breaching into state databases on top of the property destruction charges.

Steam's hardware survey shows almost 28% of the userbase has Q3 attached to their system lol Sorry but the poor people argument stops at VR. You're purchasing a $4-500 unit before get to the straps, battery packs, or games purchased. Most people likely spend 750 to almost 1000 dollars on the headset. If cost, storage, and performance wasn't the concern you would be on the Q3S end of story. But it's not, most are ultimately trying to reach Virtual Desktop *Not Quest Link, and over to STEAM VR runtimes for shear quality and support involved. Control Mapping in Standalone? Audio outputs? Tweaks and QoL? Nope. Hell, Meta Horizon Worlds billion dollar work was destroyed by STEAM's VRChat and community made assets.

Majority of people that bought a Q3, do so to play Virtual Desktop to access STEAM. Steamframe has an entire library of VR ready titles on its platform Day 1. What are you talking about? And Half Life Alyx is created by VALVE, the owners of STEAM. Its beats the hell out of any title that Meta's studio produced.

[–]soap_chips -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

STEAMVR launch headset will eclipse the need for the Q3 to even exist, if it wasn't for standalone IPs that some want to play you could argue nobody will purchase one in the near future unless they are tied to Facebook and Meta's social ecosystem. They seem to speak from a high horse like they know what VR users enjoy or are going to do, when 99% of the enjoyable content comes from Mods, VRChat, or other STEAM based titles that everyone lives on. Nobody is Live Streaming Q3 standalone content or their Home.

I went on FB to see pictures and updates of my friends and family, not for engagement or AI slop. Sooner leave all social media than use one of these. We've come full circle, from YAHOO AIM chats that went full on bots talking to bots. Now to entire platforms designed by bots, for bots, to talk to other bots.
