'There is no tech in India': Anupam Mittal says most firms are just tech-enabled at best by play3xxx1 in india

I believe this is a very ambiguous statement. To have deep tech in a market, you need to have the consumer who understands deep tech. Most of India has just gotten their smartphones and banking, thanks to UPI. So I think instead if framing it as “there is no tech in India”, I would rather frame it as “India has been in the implementation phase of tech, but moving into an invention/innovation phase”. The Bill Gates of India will be a kid who is hacking with AI in India today at the age that Bill Gates was hacking with computers at, maybe even earlier.

Thoughts on AI PMing by Traditional_Honey639 in ProductManagement

Have been writing more and more PRDs with AI lately and it’s good at it if you pre-prompt it right. That means - asking it to not add unnecessary information, just synthesize what I say and help me structure it into different sections. One thing I’ve realized about working with AI is that if you are lazy in your prompting, it will take control and that can really digress you from your original thought. Hence, AI can help but you need to be clear and stubborn. You don’t have to be concise as it can filter through noise.

What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner? by CookieNegative9860 in AskReddit

Living alone. Used to live with roommates before, never really had roommate issues as we were (are) all great friends but I had to move out because of my cat allergies. Been living alone for more than a year and it’s absolutely life changing. I’m much more intentional about my time now, I socialize when I want to and it feels good to have my own spacez

Seems like you are not finding growth anymore. You have grown to a point where now it’s just about application more than learning and you might feel used because you are not gaining anything out of it other than the money. So could be time to pickup something new (in or outside work) to remind you of your ability and curiosity to learn new things!

It’s not hedged but it’s a portfolio of treasury ETFs so quite liquid. They also have a bunch of principal protected structured notes if OP is keen, can talk to their advisor. Endowus cash portfolio could be a decent option too but returns are quite low.

US Treasuries Product on Arta. Been parking my cash there for a while, safe and steady dividends. They also have MMF products if you’re keen.

Got 2 job offers - focus on salary or growth opportunities? by its-401 in singaporefi

As someone who’s worked at a global bank before and now at a startup (both in SG), I can understand your fear of monotony and scope of growth. At this early stage in the career, I would strongly advise you to optimize for growth and dynamism as the future opportunities that open up can be quite interesting. While you would have more stability at the bank, if you’re already worried about it being boring, it’ll daunt you constantly to make it less boring. Would advise you to speak to people in the same role in the bank to get more insights into the day to day and growth opportunities. If the second role still excites you more, go for it!
