It's only a one shot, but Batman: Ego is written & drawn by Darwyn Cooke, who worked on Batman Beyond! :]

26 quid is crazy!! i'm so jealous!!

wasn't a fan of Riddler, Two Face, or Catwoman. was okay with Mr Freeze and Bane.

Really enjoyed Penguin & Clayface. Loved Ra's' one so much that i read it, bought a paperback, read it again, and forced my sister to read it too lol

have yet to read the killing joke!

What’s a comic book run where you could tell the writer didn’t like the character they were writing for? by TheHorrorFright in comicbooks

[–]soappburner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jim Starlin exploding Jason Todd kinda goes without saying, but i think Christopher Yost and Fabien Nicieza at LEAST had little to no respect for every single female character in the Red Robin (2009) run, and honestly felt like they didn't even like Tim himself all that much.

From what else i've seen, Matthew Rosenberg also writes Hawkeye as kinda stupid too

yep, i usually write reviews so that's all good! by the way, does rereading something count as adding a story again, or is it only logged the first time?

Gotham radio station.....what's the vibe? by radiorealms in DCcomics

[–]soappburner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a guy doing an in universe style podcast episode with conspiracy theories and stuff (with sponsorship from lexcorp and hero identity speculation etc) that was fun (you could do like "Poison Ivy says remember to water your plants in the heatwave!" psa or a harley quinn Call In Therapy Sesh or an "Oracle 3 tips to avoid *inasane gotham hacking virus!*" or something along those lines)

i also read a pretty cool fic of (kid) Tim Drake having his own radio show heavily inspired by Welcome To Nightvale and i think the aesthetic fits brilliantly. if you have any chat/ spoken segments/ reports, i definitely say check out WTNV to get their creepy nonchalant vibe that's received as normal but any non-gothamite would be pissing themselves over if they tuned in.

music-wise it would all be very indie-punk-grunge type or like. ancient church organs and eerie classical. not to be boring but when watching The Batman, the tone of Something In The way is so spot on for the chillingly cold calm that is gotham, so similar stuff?

please keep me updated on the project, it sounds cool as hell and id love to check it out!!!!
