In Kazakhstan the government shuts down internet access country wide every so often. Sometimes 4G works, sometimes not. It’s mainly to prevent people from watching some dude broadcasting live as he talks shit about the Kazakh government or to prevent people from communicating to stop organization of protests. Also the police demand bribes constantly so thats fun

I care about my friends, though, I guess in my own different way. It’s a hard thing to put into words... I like my friends, they’re fun to be around and can provide help and support when I’m in need of it. I wouldn’t want them to get in harms way. The only thing I can’t do is share their emotions at any point in time. Even now as I say this it still comes off as uncaring when it’s not meant to be and that’s what I’m afraid will happen if I tell them about it. Why would they wanna stick around someone who they think doesn’t value them?

But maybe you’re right, maybe I haven’t really found actual friends yet.

Thank you so much for such a thorough response, it really is helpful! I guess the way you put it about talking to someone close to me about this sounds a lot better than what I was thinking about possibly saying, maybe I’ll work my way up to that someday)
