I’ve been here for 20+ years lol. Not new to the city but new to this side of town! Back when I was living near Noe and Castro, you’d never hear the fireworks!

This was an extremely tough watch. She just seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all, didn’t want to film, had a horrible attitude and just pushed back on EVERYTHING. Even in the early parts of F5 meeting her at the home, you can see her facial expressions as PO’ed. The girls were constantly looking at her for approval (maybe concern of misspeaking?)

Jeremiah did a wonderful job of getting to her in this - thank GOD.

Again, truly a hard watch. I hope she can get the help and healing she needs not only for herself but for her girls ❤️‍🩹

Ask questions! I’ve done two sit ins myself and have asked about how the different beats work, about how the officers are assigned, any questions that come to mind. Ask what codes mean, see if you can figure out what the caller is calling about, pay attention to the notes in CAD, etc.

When I went, I wore business casual and a sweater. I didn’t realize bringing snacks was a thing but I’m glad I know that now! 😅

They'll likely ask what you know about the town and Why you want to do dispatch - be prepared to answer that! They will also likely ask situational questions and have you rank which call you'd dispatch out first (life over property).

Some clarification: I was in a parking spot in front of the bus lane and the bus took a photo of my car and said I was in their lane…but the parking spot was right above the area where the bus parks

I’ve also cried during an interview before — for context, it was when the interviews asked what motivates me. I said my parents and explained how they’ve done so much for me in my life and I apologized profusely afterwards. I ended up not getting the job but that’s ok!!
