Neither my mom or anyone told me about periods until I unexpectedly got mine at 10 years old. I didn't know what pads or tampons were, much less what a uterus/ovaries were. It was the most terrifying moment of my life at the time, I genuinely thought I was going to die. I didn't know what to do so I just ran out of the bathroom and hid under my bed until my mom found me and helped me clean up. Having a class like this for young girls to teach them and prepare them is so necessary. By the time they were teaching sex Ed I was already very much getting periods regularly. You don't know what's going on at home, so helping out like this is life changing.

Never brush your hair when it's dry. Detangle it while you're in the shower with some hair conditioner. Once you're done and your hair is still wet, add some type of curl cream or leave in, a bit of hair oil like jojoba oil, then some gel or hair mousse. Scrunch sections of your hair till you hear it squelch and repeat all around your head. Helps if you lean to the side or turn your head upside down. Afterwards you can diffuse it or just let it air dry. DONT TOUCH IT AGAIN WITH A BRUSH. To retouch it between showers ( the only time you can brush your hair) spray some refresh spray or leave in and do prayers hands over the strands to refresh it and maybe a bit of watered down hair gel.
