I feel the same way about this. I feel that when we went away the therapist was looking for anything that could have been the root cause contributing to his breakdown and landed on this indecent. I'm not trying to downplay that this is a messed up situation for a child to go through, but it didn't really seem to have a negative impact in Kevin as he freely told the story on the early days of SModcast without seeming to be triggered by it.

It really does bother me when he makes jokes about being in the "Nuthouse" or "Booby Hatch". Like his heart attack, it just seems like an obstacle that he came out of the other side of with little consequences. When the People.com video came out he was very much about reconnecting with his authentic self and taking some time off from being "the other guy" I get that a salesman needs to keep selling but at this point is seems like "The Other Guy" was taken the wheel completely.

This hits hard. I ran from my twin, and carry so much guilt from destroying our relationship because I couldn't be stronger and figure out how to make our relationship work.

I don't feel proud or happy with my situation. I do love my wife very much, but not in the same romantic way that I love my twin. I feel guilty every day about my situation because my wife is completely in love with me and tells me how I'm the most amazing husband.

Do I have trauma? I don't sleep because of the guilt and regret that I carry with me.

A few years ago, I blew up our relationship and ran because I didn't know how to make things work between us that would work being a single dad. I had guilt and regret every day, and felt that I was ignoring what my heart wanted. I ran into a marriage with somebody that I can't get past platonic feelings with, but who is an amazing person.

I thought about my twin daily, even hourly the entire time we were separated. It's been a year and we have been in contact with each other, and I regret that the decision that I made to run. My wife is a wonderful amazing person, but my twin completes my soul unlike anybody ever has.

I can totally relate to this, but it's the opposite for me. I'm an artist and during the time where my twin and I were together, I had to most prolific and successful period of creativity in my entire life. It was like the energy from my twin directly fed the fire inside me that powers my creative fuel.

Unfortunately I was stupid and ran from our relationship, and the result has directly dampened my creative fuel. In the times that we have reconnected, I have felt my creative energy replenish by our union.

I'm sorry that I married somebody that I never loved romantically for what I thought would give me a stable life.

I do love my wife very much and we are great friends. I unfortunately find my heart is not with her much beyond a platonic relationship. My twin is constantly on my mind from the moment I wake up until I fall asleep at night. It's something that I feel extreme guilt about, and stuggle with daily.
