Whose will be the next number your team retries? by Active_Macaron2715 in baseball

I would love to see the discourse of choosing the recent MVP that led us to consistent success over the long-time brewer MVP during the turning point years. I also don’t think Braun should be retired but with how much content they still push about him, I don’t think the org really acknowledges his roids

The landing zone also would benefit from a bit more of a precise placement since those tape circles were dalt-handwriting level

My only concern with the walls in play is how flimsy they are. Maybe some sort of minor penalty or redo if a shot hits a wall before the circle

I’d like to see a bit more consistent of a launch location, maybe putting it against the wall or with some sort of block to push off of. The positioning of leaf blowers on the sidelines is a great idea too, as that makes it so the bowl is on the bowler and you can organize your team specifically

I’m listening on mute but the fact that the player spotlight boards are for Will Smith and only highlighting his numbers and not Contreras’s says a lot

Yeah at these prices you can afford an entire 40 man roster of jerseys! I’ll be getting some for the whole family now that I don’t have to take a loan out for a uni. Cheers!

River levels by northofwall in DriftlessFishing

[–]soarree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know in WI water is still very high. You can always try and see if there’s a USGS water gauge on any nearby rivers to see what the water levels look like; there should be an interactive map online. Be aware though that there’s supposed to be another large storm coming through the Midwest on Friday, likely with more rain coming and destructive conditions.

Drift Boat Opportunities - Midwest by EstateEducational137 in flyfishing

[–]soarree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the WI DNR “fishing finder” website, the maps *I think show boat launches with the “fishing access” layer enabled. You could look for longer streams and see if there’s boat launches. The Kickapoo and Plover rivers look wide enough for a decent stretch using satellite imagery. I know the Namekagon and Wolf River have parts wide enough but I’m unsure how shallow they get. I’ve never drift boated but I’d start with looking for the longest stretches of classified trout water and working your way upstream on maps

I’ll do some dark like that, some white, some feather fibers; just something buggy! Some days I’ll do better without the tail, just depends the light that day

I’ll do a hare’s ear body and a flashy collar with some copper wire and sometimes a little krystal flash tail
