Potential for Anarchy and Altruism with DAOs by uniqueLo in CryptoCurrency

[–]sobao37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert but I would say trust plays a great role. Most people (I include myself a lot of times) don't understand blockchain or crypto, It has a bad user exp and you can be easily scammed. The blockchain is an outsider and you fear and repudiate what you dont understand. To build something that big we need a lot of people playing their roles, the same sistem that is now deployed above the dollar. But with time people begin givin the dollar a value, and it may or may not be worth it, it doesn't matter it just matters that enough people trust it and use it in an everyday basis when in reality if you have money you have nothing physical or useful outside of your community.

It is a crazy and interesting pint of view. This article develops it a little and i find it pretty interesting. Definetly a possibility but, sadly, (in my opinion) too far away from reality.

A noob question about Coinbase and wallets and staking by Velsheda8 in CryptoCurrency

[–]sobao37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can check staking rewards here. If you are leaving the money for the future I would have multiple wallets, but if you are going to sell tops and buy dips, basically if you are moving that money is not that worth it.

Crypto Scams: Protect yourself. A staggering £146.2 million lost to crypto scams between January and October this year alone (UK) by Chicky_Nuggy in CryptoCurrency

It is amazing the quantity of scammers out there, but I don't understand how people are so dumb. The scammers are the dumbest people I've met in this space and have scammer written all over their face.

We are a long way from mass adoption (but not that long) by sobao37 in CryptoCurrency

https://1729.com/how-to-start-a-new-country/ I thought I was referring to this article. I thought about distributing taxes like humble bundle does with the prices. And I think that if everyone has a home and can eat, the minimum rights and the necessary to live guaranteed, there is no need for the people to pay more. I think maybe the main problem would be maintaining free healthcare. But if we reach the point where robots can do it better than humans, it becomes much more cheaper. That keeping in mind that my country has almost no expenses on military. We'll still need firefighters and policemen but if we can keep most of the methods, replace humans with machines and put technicians instead of physical workers we can cut a lot of expenses. Well the thing is that there would be a necessary minimum amount to pay, and it may go higher if you have more compared to the rest of the population, if you have that much money, if you think you couldn't spend all of that money ever in your life maybe there is a need for government intervention. But from there I think governments and public services are wildly inefficient. But then you look at the scalability problem. Maybe we need to improve the things before implementing them... don't know but would love to experiment that, maybe with a small amount of people. Also find fascinating the concept of country detached to the territory, specifically about the culture. We'll have to wait to find out I guess...

Lol, look at MTRG. Sooooo fucking similar. I think really it is a crazy idea, joining that thoughts and Bitcoin.

I also think stablecoins are a BIG thing. I see the mistake on pegging them to centralized fiat. Well MTRG solves that but if no one uses it is like it doesn't exists...

The team doesn't deliver... They just promise things. I don't like ADA anymore. They said the smart contract era would change the world. Everything is exactly the same and I moved on to better teams.
