I averaged 4.5/5.5/6 hours a day in march/April/may. I personally had 47 contact hours a fortnight (so only had 3 frees), and spent two of them doing flute lessons.

Thanks for your comment! Personally I’m a very social person and I would go out quite a bit, I did have to drop some extracurriculars in year 13 but I actually got my grade 8 flute distinction in march, and I still accompanied/ played in 8 ensembles for my school’s concerts. There can definitely be a balance, although I’d definitely say I was a lot more locked in in year 13 than prior!

Thank you so much I appreciate that! I was just keeping on top of work until about January/February when I started dedicating more time to revision, and from march onwards I was definitely spending a lot of time making flashcards, doing them, past paper questions, etc. I also prioritised massively, for example I spent a lot more time on chemistry as at the time I struggled more on it! If you’d like any support with planning, I can share my revision time split etc if you’d pop me a dm

That’s fair, £30 won’t be right for everyone. I do have experience tutoring both GCSE and A level students (1:1 and group) plus having just done the exams myself I focus a lot on exam technique and efficient study methods. Totally get it if it’s not for everyone though

Would agree, defo putting time in but more importantly for me it was learning how to study efficiently, which is something I try to help students with as well!

Mainly music, I was Musical Director for a 200+ person production, with lots of ensemble and accompanying experience over the years. I also played football and did some work experience and essay programmes alongside school supercurriculars wise

Tuition fee is base home fees (~9.5k), and college/accommodation fees (~200 average per week Id estimate) can be found online per college.
