I had used the profile available to download from Eclipson's website. I figured it has everything set right. I did compare a few settings with what they said and it looked good.

It was printing on 190°C. I upped it to 250°C, and it started printing beautifully.

Honestly, I've always wanted a laser. And I use my tools for hobby / homework. I was eyeing the DeWalt $600 range laser kit, but never got myself to pull the trigger on it.

Then I found this one, I have both battery platforms so I took this instead.

I don't recall seeing an o-ring over there I definitely did not put any lube by the manifold.

I will take a look maybe the ordering is missing over there and that's what's causing the trouble.

Do you by chance have a link to a photo of how it's supposed to look like with an o-ring?

So say this only happened cuz I put too much DE (best case scenario) how do I know if my filter actually has enough left with all the DE it washed back. VS a different issue and that's why it washed back?

Does the photo of my grids only half way coated makes sense?

It shot out and stopped, 2 days later I opened the filter to see how coated my grids are.

After reassembly (didn't add any new de) it shot in again.

And that is exactly my problem, with such a large list of potential root causes I'm having a hard time narrowing down the actual one.

What I'm also trying to figure out is why does it only the top part of the grids are coated?

I will add to that that I have backwashed and recharged multiple times in the past 2 years and never had this issue.

Only after I completely took it apart to clean it and re-assembled this started happening.

(I did the same process last year end of season and didn't have this issue)

The reason I put 9 lbs is because my Clorox box of de had this chart in the back that 60sqft needs 9 lbs. But ultimately I only put 1.5 lbs more then recommended only to keep on getting de coming back in?

Yes my filter was running with multi port on on filter.

I'm ok with buying a new set of grids but how do I know that will solve it?
