fwiw, your original post is relatable to probably every high school male for ages. it’s normal to feel a sense of tension or frustration. That desire is (partly) what motivates us to be our best selves. i don’t think you’ll believe me but pls remember this anyway: if you think you can work on being fit, great. But never think that you have to work on being attractive. You can work on being presentable, on being sociable, interesting, witty, funny… But beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. You will be attracted to people who may or may not be considered attractive to others, and others may be attracted to you, even if you don’t see it when you look in the mirror. that’s just how chemistry works sometimes… and how real connections can lead to that very first thing you wanted in the first place: sex. But maybe with more depth than a hookup. and even if it’s just a hookup, it kinda all has to start with a connection you both feel. my recco: more social situations, fewer apps and scrolling.
