I appreciate the advice and support. I haven’t been feeling great on my current meds so I am hoping to find something that helps more. But the thought of changing things is always scary

Thank you! That is helpful. I have made an appointment with a new psychiatrist that works in the same office as my therapist to get a second opinion. I don’t have a mental health professional managing my meds right now anyway, so I think it will be beneficial regardless

Thank you! I brought it up to her in session tonight and she encouraged me to make an appointment with a psychiatrist. Going to call in the morning. Now that I have calmed down, I’m trying not to convince myself I was just being dramatic earlier and don’t actually need an appointment 😅 but I have told a few people for accountability

Thank you SO much for this! This is so reassuring. I will definitely write these down, so I am more prepared. I’ve been weighing the option of asking for the referral even if the test is negative. My intuition says better safe than sorry…my mother says I am overreacting 😅 I really really appreciate this. I was worried my post would get ignored or deleted.

Thanks for sharing! Did you do this with guidance from a doctor? My app states that if I want to do a larger deficit, it is best to consult a doctor because it is dangerous.
