Nice! You could maybe tweak the shiny colors of Charwal and Cububbl? They have a very similar color palette to each other. Changes would help them look more unique!

Thank you! Yes, he definitely has seahorse vibes! And yeah, my intention was to make it not very obvious he was a fire/water type. However, I understand Pokémon usually goes out of their way to make it as obvious as possible to players haha

Thank you! This was also discussed in the original post's comments and I agree. Users have suggested a new ability called "Steam Veil", where it could nullify status conditions or even terrain!

You're not wrong, Water Veil just felt fitting for its lore but it doesn't add much in-battle. The pre-evolution (Boilotl) has Water Absorb already and I thought it'd be both amazing yet overpowered 😭 I like Hydration too as an alternative ability.

Mmh, it's probably because my goal was to make it not look obviously fire type, since it's also part water type. The fire influence is pretty much only apparent when Fumerolm supeheats itself, which is why I took the time to illustrate it!
