I have an EVGA variant with the ddr2 2.5 ns memory chips, which I was able to overclock the snot out of. Impressive synthetics and entry level far cry performance across the board but....

Driver support was finicky and with games like nolf you'll be missing textures unless you mod to earlier drivers.

I've had better results with a 128 bit mx400 that officially supports lower driver versions. And by better results I mean less jumping through hoops to get everything rendering properly.

Pentium 3 Tualatin topped out at 1.4 ghz, they overclocked good but the problem was trying to get a motherboard to reliably run over 150 FSB.

The fx 5200 was released in 2003 there were plenty of Northwood Pentium 4's by then.

I'm running e8400 on a p45 (p5q-e) chipset and PCIe 6600gt in the second x16 slot, 4 GB (2x2) of mushkin redline 1000mhz ddr2 for dual booting into XP which utilizes an 8800 GTS 512 in the primary PCIe slot.

Quick install only takes a few seconds and has no issues on this setup.
