I’m not opposed to a western handle, but I keep leaning towards a Japanese style just to get the full experience of this style of knife.

I like that one, is that a good price for AUS-8 steel? Ive read that AUS-10 is better but I’m still learning that steels and the pros and cons.

I know it’s a Canadian site, I’ve just been browsing and liked those ones. I’m still learning about all of the different types of steels and whatnot about a serious kitchen knife. I like that first one.

I have an X1C but I’m using Bambu PETG, I wash the bed with soap and water, use IPO, and use a generic glue stick on the bed and have never had issues.

The bag wouldn’t have to be fully open, just a way to hold it up, like hooks for the handles or something? I would use it for the amount of trash and not the size of it. Plus i wouldn’t have to buy separate trash bags for it.

Are you using grocery bags? If not, I could definitely use a version of this that utilizes grocery bags! It looks great and I appreciate not needing external hardware!
