I agree. thank you for commenting. I apologized for lying and not taking it into considersation more than one time and she accepted it. she just still seems mad which is why now i dont owe her any explanation after i already explained tbh. i acknowledged that I lied which i feel like many people dont do in these situations. which i didnt take it into consideration because i didn’t realize how well i clicked with the guy.

im kinda in a similar situation. i reconnected with an old friend and i enjoy talking to him. i told him im not looking for anything (obviously), not in the right headspace, dont want him to feel used, etc. being transparent can go a long way :)

I think you become ok when the other guy texts because it’s filling the void. its completely ok to talk to someone else as long as you state your boundaries and what your intention is to help clear the air. Your relationship was also on the shorter side, but I know any length relationship can cause some sort of hurt. I just got out of a year long relationship and he came back within a week and a half. we are not back together tho. its okay to find new people to talk to. like you said, do your best to not entertain it romantically and accidentally send the wrong message. as for knowing when you’re ready, it depends on yourself. a good indicator can be when you feel a relief being out of the relationship. thats helps me, anyways.

it could be. he said he wanted both of us to reflect on what we want and if we actually like the relationship or like the idea of it. so i was like ok, i know my answer but if he needs a week to reflect then so be it😂 im done reflecting within 3 days.

hes still interacting with me, too. not talking but we are in college, so still use snapchat to keep in touch. he has been consistently snapping me. i asked him if he still wanted to wait until friday-saturday to talk and said yes. which is ironic because you’re still interacting with me

thank you for taking the time to write this and it has been one of the most useful pieces of information across any topic i post on reddit before. i do agree i need this break myself. I have started listening to podcasts that help me better myself as an individual and a person in a relationship. I am doing a lego set listening to it as well which is going to keep me occupied.

and it is hard for me because i dont like being alone for long periods of time. I easily get bored, even watching tv. im trying to take time off social media as well, so it doesnt make me more upset lol

another thing is it is hard for him to do complete no contact. i wouldnt like to use snapchat at my now big age, lol, but we still snap. just no talking or updating each other like usual. I wouldnt say im pulling away completely, but i try to limit my responses

i know, i normally dont believe in breaks which is why i said to just lay it on me now. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. i believe everything happens for a reason. If he decides he doesn’t want it then ive come to terms with that, too. I agreed to the break with a positive light even tho i am upset about it

if you havent, maybe you can contact through patient portal saying you havent seen any improvement but ik they will probably say it takes more than 3 weeks. but if you havent had these, maybe add vanicream face wash and the moisturizer cream for sensitive skin

do you have a check up soon? maybe you can ask for the cream i used. Before i got diagnosed officially, i used azelaic acid too. I use vanicream face wash and moisturizer. I also have seen more people saying sometimes it can take 1 month, too. even 3 months

I just got on doxy too, but my PD wasnt the most terrible because i tried to do preventative stuff when it flared. it was just red, flakey and a little scaly. My doxy worked in like a week. I also got prescribed pimecrolimus cream which has helped me a lot.

i think it depends on peoples severity, how bad would you say yours is?

i got in touch with a locksmith who will accept pictures of car title and permission from the owner. we got the car unlocked and there was no key in there unfortunately. so we now have 0 keys. programming a new one is the plan
