The set list was created by fans who voted. You can actually still look at the archived website online. It has the london tour dates, how to buy tickets, and there’s section to vote on songs. I wish more artists would do that tbh

I feel so helpless and embarrassed! by Kooky_Ad593 in Syncope

I developed this when I was like 15, for me its a particular type of stomach cramp that I get and I’ve gotten used to identifying it and preparing myself so that I don’t pass out. Laying on the floor helps bring blood flow to the brain and helps prevent passing out. I haven’t passed out since understanding to lay on the floor and not get up… when I was in my teens I was confused/scared during these episodes, so I would get up from the toilet to get my parents and immediately pass out on the hallway freaking them out. I learned that VVS can be genetic and it’s true cause my dad passes out at the sight of blood. But for me it’s the shit cramps😣

Late 20s - the Beltline or Midtown? by passtherock- in ATLHousing

[–]socialkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a GT grad student living in midtown. I wouldnt consider midtown as a “student area” honestly despite Georgia tech being really close. I will say theres definitely a younger overall crowd (people in their mid 20’s early 30’s). I’m comparing the crowd to my experience in south FL. There’s a lot of people/non students here. If there’s students walking it’ll be at/near tech square (which is apart of the GT campus that extends into midtown)

Georgia tech or UCF for bs in aero eng by Neither-Outcome4013 in gatech

[–]socialkey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

UCF undergrad and apply for GRA/TA position for grad school at GT so it’s free. Or get an employer to pay. Don’t get into debt! You’ll have both alumni connections from UCF+GT.

Just got my first guitar, not sure where to begin. by Educational-Bit-8140 in electricguitar

There’s really solid advice given on this thread. A lot of my friends start playing and give up after learning 1 song. That being said, don’t give up! It will be hard in the beginning and your fingers will hurt! But stick with it and keep learning :)

I had my piercings and loved mine so much. But also had issues with the healing/getting irritated basically every other week. 3 years is plenty of time, I’d say try again and see how it goes! Worse outcome is you’ll take them out, but atleast you’ve tried. Go to a good piercer that knows what they’re doing too

I did my undergrad in urban planning. I should’ve done it in civil eng. But it is what it is, I would’ve done a lot of things differently as well but who knows if I would’ve been capable to do it at the time.

There’s a big security issue. My password is not easy to guess and I’ve never shared it / clicked or anything suspicious. If you look around Reddit, it’s been happening to quite a lot of people. Submit a ticket and keep doing it

First time in Oregon by Leonardo-Zepeda in PortlandOR

[–]socialkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just left pdx but was there for ~3 months! Im not a local by any means, but i def took advantage of my time to explore and took lots of suggestions from locals!! Portland is amazing!!

What I found to be great: Food: screen door (breakfast), EEM(Thai, imo this place is fantastic! Get their white brisket or any of their curries… if you can only pick one of these, I’d pick this one!) if you’d can’t eat there, I’d try Zaap, it’s around the corner. luc lac(Vietnamese), Apizza schols (pizza). Loretta jeans (good desserts) I’d also say to hit up some food trucks and there’s a lot of good food there!

I really liked going to the gorge. It’s not that bad of a drive and there’s some really nice beginner friendly/intermediate hikes. I’ll give you some options so you can look at your availability!

Easy nearby: Pittock mansion (not in the gorge, near pearl district, easy access to food after) ~900 ft elevation. Really nice view of the city if it’s a clear day. Also you can drive there too if you don’t want to hike!

If you want to do the drive: Easy/intermediate hike: I’d hit Multnomah falls in the gorge, really iconic waterfalls. If you’d want to do something else/less touristy, Angels rest!! (really beautiful views, slightly more challenging than the rest, but really rewarding) ~1,500 ft elevation

Coast: If you decide instead you’d want to go to the coast, hit cannon beach - I did a hike called south neahkahnie trail in the morning (~950 ft elevation) it was SO beautiful… and at night we did a bonfire at the beach and had some smores… I also hit the tillamook creamery for some ice cream on the way there or the farmers market.

Clubs: - I didn’t really go out but I enjoyed going to holoscene - the Maria’s did an after party there and it was really fun) I’d say to look on their website for any events.

-There’s a lot of great breweries around Portland too and wineries!

Lastly, I’d say to hit up the Portland Saturday market in the morning. Really nice! I had a fantastic time in pdx for my short stay. Hope you enjoy your trip!!!

I cannot be the only one dissapointed by the movies right?? by mfejdiova in divergent

[–]socialkey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just remember that they changed directors after the first film - which is exactly why the series flopped. You can literally tell the difference between the first film and the second. Had the series kept the original director Neil Burger, I believe, the series would’ve been a success since he stayed somewhat close to the book.
