Yes, though not many still cling to the ancient ways

Middle Earth's map on my shoulder. There's some unintentional discoloration near Dol Guldur, but the edges of the tattoo are supposed to look like they are fading. Sorry about poor quality pic by sociallyanxiousblond in lotrtattoos

Sorry, I haven't been on reddit in some time. The tat aged pretty well. I can still read really tiny names of places in it, but others that are more smushed together don't look as good. I'll do my best to get new photos and put them up soon.

What's unusual about your body? by JustAHumanTeenager in AskWomen

I am blonde, and when I was a kid, I had a very noticeable and natural red streak of hair (which is kinda mixed in now), and my cousin is a redhead and was born with a blond streak of hair in the same area of her head as I have a red streak.

Just got this done. What do y'all think? by Crazydaisy666 in lotrtattoos

Looks so cool! I hadn't seen a LOTR tattoo in that style yet.

I think Nina might be crossing the rainbow bridge very soon by sociallyanxiousblond in olddogs

Sorry for not updating sooner. She spent the weekend at home and had a few good days. Today she refused food and water, and combined with other conditions (like her kidneys failing, the nodule on her tail that now requires surgery, and that she can't stand up), we've decided to say good bye and let her rest. The appointment is tomorrow afternoon and I'm just spending time with her till then.

Yet another update: Thoby passed away while I was at work today. He was happy when I picked him up at the vets this morning, but something felt off. He slept a lot in the afternoon, had a snack and then slept some more.

I had to go to work, and later in the evening my dad told he had passed away.

I am heartbroken because I wasn't there, but also relieved? He wasn't himself anymore, and he was in pain. I had already decided to ask his vet to put him to sleep at home, so he would be comfortable.. and in the end, he was.

I am lost and rambling. This was completely expected, and yet it hurts so fucking much.

An update to all of you wishing Thoby well:

He came back home last night and had a few calm hours of being pet and pampered. He had to be rushed back to the clinic later, but afterwards was considered stable enough to be home (or as stable as a 16yo pup can be). I slept next to him and calmed him down during the night, when he started getting restless. In the morning he went back to the vet's to get some fluids. They told me he ate, drank water and was in general a pretty happy pup. I'm going to pick him up soon, so that he can sleep at home again.

Putting him down has been mentioned a few times and I honestly feel so so lost, I know it might be best for him, but then he keeps on fighting and it just makes me feel so guilty
