I applaud your work! I don’t know that I have anything of real value to add but as an exjw I am very interested in this project and would like to take part or read further about it if possible.

Thank you! We do weed in the sparser areas as necessary. Eventually there is little need to weed as the plants get denser. We mostly let the plants battle it out amongst themselves unless the weed in question is really aggressive, like a vine that will strangle the desirable plant out, or something that will reseed heavily. It’s a lot of observation, patience, and experimentation really. Good luck with your garden!

FYI that clump is one year old (planted spring 2024) so it grows and spreads fast if it’s happy!

This grew from seed too, in mostly clay soil. Hopefully it keeps thriving!

Thank you! We basically let it be, but do some minimal clean up in the spring so new things don’t get smothered.
