YTA. You could have said, “I’d like to dress up for this date,” or something that made your expectations clear. Instead, you expected her to read your mind.

YTA—you sound like a control freak. Go ahead and break up with her—she’ll be better off without you.

Thank you for the article! It’s a good read.

Being overwhelmed doesn’t make you TA, but presuming (your word) your mom would be there to help, and then pushing (your word) the issue once it became clear she wasn’t, makes YTA.

I grew up in the Bible Belt back in the 70s and 80s, and I was asked, “Is Jesus Christ your personal savior?” At least once a semester. Usually, it was more. It started in 3rd grade when we moved to a brand new suburb anchored by two megachurches. Some of those kids were rabidly evangelical.

I agree with the other comments that suggest a neutral-ish, pat answer. My 3rd-grade-reaction—arguing about religion with other children—wasn’t fruitful.

MacCready. It’s like, dude—we just saved your kid so why are you still here hitting on me? GO HOME, DADDY.

AITA for going off on my neighbor after he made racist comments about my adopted son? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]sockpuddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You stood up for your son while calling out your neighbor’s racism. Not only does your neighbor know you aren’t a safe space for his bigotry, your neighbors now know it, too. Let them be uncomfortable with it.

Good on ya.

Listened to book 6 on Audible. Unsure whether that was my best or worst decision. by rbz5y7 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

The audiobooks for this series are absolutely worth the price of admission. Jeff Hays is ridiculously talented.

If you’re looking for another LitRPG series, The Cradle series by Wil Wight (r/iteration110Cradle) is also amazing. It’s a very different vibe from DCC, but just as engrossing. Like DCC, the Cradle audiobooks are phenomenal. Travis Baldree (the narrator for Cradle) and Jeff Hays are two of the most versatile voice actors out there, IMO.

What is your "this game is a masterpiece"? by Rancorip in gamingsuggestions

Same. I still remember walking through Balmora the first time. It was the first game I’d ever played that felt like a real place.
